The start of a blonde journey 👱🏻‍♀️

Back story.. my girl used to be a blondie but then had home box dyes, stripped it herself then another box dye so we both knew from the off that getting her back blonde wasn’t going to be easy. After lots of lightener, foils, root melt and tone we have some lovely results. Nothing is impossible when it comes to colour as long as there are realistic expectations 💕

This set of extensions are now almost 9 months old… we’ve not lost much length as only tiny trims are done at each appointment, the ends have faded a little but my girl loves her holidays abroad! So considering this they have lasted lovely.

This babe decided she wanted to go back to her blonde journey after a tamper with a box dye 👀 so lots of foils were needed with a money piece, root smudge and toner. We were very happy with the first result 💖

Going from dark to light can be a long tricky process but if you’re happy to take it through stages to keep your hair in good condition then I’m all yours 👱🏻‍♀️

To get this transformation I used 6 packs of tape extensions which covers a full head to make sure there is zero chance of seeing any natural hair length! ✨ I also used 2 colours blended together to get this beautiful colour match 💕

This babe came to me after growing her hair out from previous over bleaching.. so we gave her a big chop and started again. See how light we’ve got over 2 sessions of blonding yet the condition is still amazing and growing lovely 🫶🏻

A toner, a nice cut and some tape extensions for added thickness I love tapes for finer hair as they lay so flat to the head, that and a perfect colour match, you’d never know 😉

I wish I had recorded this process cause.. Wow this was a long job. This babe unfortunately had to leave her maintenance a lot longer than advised..! BUT there’s nothing that I can’t do for my girls when it comes to extensions 🪄
So we did a root touch up and a tape maintenance, the results.. we was both so chuffed 🥰 beautiful.

Re-fresh Calling 📞

The thing I love most about a balayage is the fact you only need to top her up every so often. A few foils for the face frame and a toner to finish.. beaut results 👌🏻

A full head of foils and a toner was needed to achieve this beautiful hair BUT it’s all in the aftercare too!

Using suitable products and keeping temperatures down (water AND styling tools!) are the main ones I always advise to keep your toners going for as long as possible inbetween your appointments. Check out one of my earlier posts 𝗧𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗶𝗽𝘀 ⬇️ to read some other ways to help keep that toner in 🫶🏻

Personally i absolutely love a curl/wave but how nice is knowing you your hair is still on point when you fancy wearing it straight or your in abit of a rush 💁🏼‍♀️ blends and foil placement is key to getting the best results for this colour trend 🫶🏻
