A popular question I get asked on the daily is how many grams of hair do I need?

Our hair is all double drawn which means it’s thick from root to tip. Minimal if any short hairs throughout.

Use this as a guide.
If you only need your sides or some breakage blended in then opt for 25grams in nanos or bonds etc.

100grams I find is perfect for a full head that looks so natural and then add more hair for our girls who love to go that bit extra.

Personally I’d not recommend going over 200grams but that’s just me giving that opinion.

The Pixie Weft vs The Machine Weft 🪡

I get asked about this all the time so thought I’d do a post on the difference between them and if one could be more beneficial to you than the other.

The pixie weft is the smallest weft on the market. It’s tiny! It’s 0.4mm thick and is so discrete in the hair. This is perfect for those with finer hair as other methods can leave them visible. Can be cut anywhere and there will be no shedding. They are also so light weight which helps against tension on the scalp. Perfect for all types of hair.

The machine weft is perfect for medium to thick hair. In this type of hair it can be fitted and be hidden easily if fitted correctly. The Band of the weft is much thicker than the pixie and return hairs are present.

The pixie weft is more expensive than the Machine and I believe it’s because of the craftsmanship that goes into to make it’s so durable but leaving out return hair.

My weft of choice is the Pixie just because of how discreet it is in the hair. Both come in a large colour range and are available on the website ☺️
