✨ Start Small
If your aim is to add activity to your morning routine, start with something simple like walking round your kitchen.
Big behaviour changes require a high level of motivation that often can’t be sustained. Starting with tiny habits to make the new habit as easy as possible in the beginning.

✨Stack your habits
To make your habits stick, stack them on an existing habit. If you start your day with a hot drink walk while the kettle boils. Count your steps and aim to do 10 more each morning.
Look for patterns in your day and think about how you can use existing habits to create new, positive ones.

✨ Consistency is 🗝️
On average it takes more than 2 months for a habit to become automatic. Keep at it till it becomes an unconscious action.
Once the daily exercise becomes a habit, you can explore new, more intense forms of exercise.

✨ Positive incentives
Tie something you enjoy to the activity, listening to music or a podcast.
Rewards of our healthy habits sometimes take a long time to show so we need to add our own immediate rewards. Listening to audiobooks while running, for example, or watching a favourite cooking show on the treadmill can help reinforce an exercise habit or plan an exercise date so the reward is time with a friend.

Roshe School Crawley is a sister branch to Roshe School of Performing Arts based in Felbridge, providing weekly lessons in ISTD Ballet, Modern and Tap up to Grade 3 where students are able to graduate to Roshe School of Performing Arts to continue their training. Roshe School Crawley also offers workshop classes in Contemporary, Urban, Classical Greek, Irish and Jazz giving students the opportunity to increase their versatility while learning fun routines.

Every 2 years we put on a performance for every student to participate in at a local theatre with professional lighting and gorgeous costumes, giving the parents an opportunity to see their children on stage. Our next show is Dance Fantasia! which we are hoping to perform on Tuesday 27th October 2020 at the Chequer Mead Theatre, East Grinstead.

Inspired by Disney’s Fantasia this colourful show is filled with energetic Flamingoes from The Carnival of the Animals to dancing Ostriches, Hippos, Elephants and Crocodiles from The Dance of The Hours.
