Mini Pomona was wheeled out again on Saturday 15th June for the fab makersyard market. A selection of homemade sweet and savoury treats for mini people.

A celebratory 40th birthday party at Makersyard back in April...A room full of good food & wine, lots of laughter & love. ❤️

Last night's vista into the kitchen at Hesdin Estate. Formulation cocktails paired the wine for the supper party...Westcombe cheddar souffle with an apple & hazelnut salad, sticky beef short ribs with star anise, spring green slaw & cherry & almond pavlova. 🍒

A favourite was a Hungarian dessert wine Royal Tokaji. 🍾

I have been a little quiet recently on Instagram, concentrating on private catering work.. cooking in private houses, food deliveries as well as assisting on food styling jobs in London. 🍐

A celebratory birthday supper in Beckington last Saturday. A lovely family celebrated their father's birthday with a champagne canapé reception & 4 course supper. It was a pleasure.

The silk mill was a great spot for a festive market. ✨🎀✨

All the Christmas feels with this orange, pistachio & pomegranate cake...it was delicious and it's pretty too!🎀

🌟I catered for The Old Church School Christmas party yesterday.🌟

I dropped off a selection of salads - roasted squash, tahini & lemon * red cabbage apple & pomegranate slaw.
Home-made scotch eggs & sausage rolls, smoked salmon & dill tart. As well as Christmas trimmings of dates, bacon, walnuts & blue cheese.

And for something sweet ..mini brownies, mince pies with Armagnac creme fraiche, and vegan apricot and pumpkin seed flap jack with berry compote and coconut yoghurt.

I catered for vegetarians, vegans and gluten free and it was a pleasure...🎄🎀🎄

It was a evening full of lots of laughter at the festive supper club at St. Mary's Church last Saturday. I'm not sure if it was the twinkling venue, creative cocktails, fabulous food (of course!) or sparkling staff (most likely!). Or maybe all of the above sprinkled between the festive cheer. Whatever it was it was fabulous. ✨✨✨

Christmas is right around the corner and I'm getting excited! I've been listening to Mariah while I bake... ✨

Had a little christening of the new mobile coffee shop/cocktail bar... a little spruced up Thomson mini glen serving coffee, mince pies & hot buttered rum at the makers yard market yesterday. Was a joy.

We are thinking of calling it Pomona Caravan Club what do you think? ✨

Had a little stroll down Catherine hill today and had a little flurry of festive cheer. Love the window displays. Super creative.🌟

I've been feeding my homemade mini Christmas cakes with Somerset cider brandy from ersetcider ready to sell market on 2nd December, Little Keyford, Frome.

Some will be topped with almonds and apricot jam and others with marzipan bit they will all be pretty boozy. Feeling festive.✨

We visited an old school diner in the Lower East Side. Remedy Diner. It was original and cool and served endless coffee and waffles, bacon and maple syrup. I loved it and so did Charlie! ♥️

A beautiful day in New York City. We walked the high line... a disused railway track in the meat packing district that has been converted into an elevated park. 🍏

I have arrived in New York with my son for 5 days ..going to eat our way round the city in search of the best donuts...all in the name of work of course!

Just wanted to shout out to .e.williamsbutchers in Badcox for being the best butcher in Frome. They supplied me with the ox cheeks for main and chicken livers for starters at the recent supper club and even though I was far too busy and didn't take any photos it really was superb.

I always find it a little daunting walking into a butchers and asking for 'what would be best' it feels like a really masculine space and I never know what quantities and measurements look like in real terms I feel dumb and ditzy! But Nigel and team are super helpful, more than friendly and always interested in what I'm cooking and how the supper clubs turn out...Anyways enough said except maybe a big THANK YOU. 💚

Festive Supper Club

Saturday 9th December,

Supper is served at 7pm

✨St. Mary's Church, Innox Hill, Frome. ✨

I've added an extra date and I'm revisiting the super pretty setting of St. Mary"s Church hall. Gothic in style it has oak flooring, a vaulted cobalt blue ceiling with arched beams & mullion windows. I love to adorn the space with lots of velvet, fairy lights & candles as well as seasonal decorations. The tables are laid out in a refectory style (two rows of 20 persons) & food is served down the middle. Guests share the space passing dishes & sharing conversation. It's intimate & festive and always seems to bring out a brilliant atmosphere.

Looking forward to it. ✨
