International couples | Our beautiful Taylor and Ben were based in Canada and when they first reached out to me, they needed a planner to help them feel closer to their wedding whilst being thousands of miles away!

We work with a lot of international couples who are planning their wedding in London or other beautiful parts of the UK and I’d like to say we are a pro at not only making you feel very much part of the planning process, but like you’re right here in the UK (albeit most of my couples are living in much sunnier places!)

It’s my job to make wedding planning enjoyable but also simple. I want you to feel gutted that your wedding is over, not thankful. It’s often something we hear from people who didn’t have a planner - ‘we were so glad our wedding was over so we didn’t have to spend all our time planning anymore’.

This is something we hate (!) and don’t feel like any couple should feel like this, so we work tirelessly to simplify things for you and filter information to you that you do need to know, whilst taking the reigns with the parts that you really don’t need to be involved with (this is usually the slightly boring, but important logistics!)

I’m currently travelling up to Edinburgh for a short break with friends and have taken some time to reminisce over our beautiful weddings and it’s getting me emotional! Your wedding day is not only one of the most important days of your life, but such a personal one for you and it’s my goal to make it the best one. As we are approaching the 2024 wedding season, I thought I’d say hello to Instagram again.

I’m Poppy, a multi award winning luxury wedding planner… but what do those words mean anymore.

There’s a lot of ‘award winning, luxury planners’ out there and we all have our different strengths. For me, it is about being an all-rounder. Don’t get me wrong, I adore the side of planning where we look at the intricate design elements, but ultimately, I am also a total geek when it comes to the logistics.

I always say, you need a planner who not only can do both - bring your whole day together and essentially, make it look pretty - but also ensure that the timings and suppliers all work seamlessly together.

However you also need a planner that you click with…

We work with you for a long time, or even if it’s a short planning lead time, we speak most days! So you need to make sure you actually like us!

This is why, although I hope I’m the planner for you, when couples sometimes say that they’re speaking to other planners - it’s not a bad thing. Ultimately, if I’m the right one for you, you’ll know. And that’s what my couples say, they knew I was the planner for them pretty much straight away. I can’t really hide my personality on our first call, so you know what you’re getting yourself in for from day one!

At the end of the day, I truly do care about you and your wedding. With me, your guests will have an experience like no other, regardless of whether you’re having a low-key intimate day or an all-out, no holds barred celebration!
