Eat Out Belfast
As a young and indecisive foodie couple in Belfast, we were constantly having difficulty deciding where to eat in the city.
We decided to document our foodie adventures to help others decide where to eat in Belfast.
Anything better than a deli sandwich for lunch ๐ฅช ๐I went for sweet chilli chicken, mayo, cheese & lettuce. The bread was soft ๐ญ

always serving up the best garlic bread in town.
Jโobsessed with bakery ๐ง. At the weekend I was in Dublin & was introduced to this beautttt of a place. We got there just before the lunchtime queues so only had to queue for less than 5/10 mins. The pastries were soo stunning- it made choosing something very difficult. Me and my friend decided to split a savoury and a sweet, best of both worlds lol.
We went for the nduja pizza and the raspberry flaky creamy slice lol. Iโm not sure if thereโs a name for that. Holy good god both were unreallll, honestly 10/10. My latte was also so nice. I can see why this bakery is so hyped. ๐ฅ๐ฅจ๐ฅ๐ฐ๐ง
Last week when it was lashingggg from the heavens we were craving a bowl of hot noodle soup- so we made exactly that ๐๐๐ฅข. Pork chops marinated in soy sauce and garlic. Then the broth was made with laksa paste and half coconut milk half chicken broth. Served with egg noodles & spicy chilli oil. Glass of wine optional ๐
Friday night dinner at .house . Such a treat ๐ซ. We hadnโt been here in ages and got a last minute reservation the night before- delighted. The menu had changed since we last had been and everything sounded so tasty. There was quite a few pasta dishes which I was loving.
I went for the chilli crab linguine. This dish was so perfect, so rich but light at the same time- perfect with a glass of crisp white wine. Heaven ๐ญ The other half went for the two courses for ยฃ19-such a bargain. He got the crispy squid for starters then the hanger steak. Everything is just so flavourful & the vibe is so chill ๐
A weekend in Dunfanaghy โ๏ธ
We stayed: in the railway carriages. Unreal- check out their website for all glamping options
We ate ๐ unreallll sourdough pizza. Try and book if you can but we got lucky with a walk in. Dog friendly. Also ate at Strand Road- really cute restaurant with a beer garden out the back.
Had a few ๐บโs in- Patsy Dans and The Oyster Bar. Both let dogs inside.
Such a fun weekend!
Unreal fish goujons from Wrights @ Howth. Howth is approx 2 hrs from Belfast, a small cute seaside town just outside Dublin. There are soo many beautiful seafood restaurants and cute Irish bars. 100% worth the trip for a day. ๐ โ๏ธ ๐ฆ
Lovely meal at the a few weeks ago. They have a lovely menu with plenty of pub grub options! We loved it because they are dog friendly. The bar has a back section with tables where u can have food. The bar is so cosy and they had live music on when we were there. ๐ถ
I went for the baked hake which was served on creamy mash then in a creamy leek & leak & pea sauce. Omg it was delicious- the fish just fell apart. Beauttt
First time trying what a sin, I know๐ ๐ the menu was class- every dish was so unique. Not just your bog standard brunch stuff. Honestly, everything sounded 10/10. We had the triple bacon, which was brioche with buckfast sautรฉed onions, bacon, black pudding and a fried egg. Sooo yummy. We also went for their famous green eggs which is like a mix between a pesto and a salsa verde. Love all micro greens on top ๐. I also got a mimosa because we were celebrating lol. Definitely put this on your list. Iโd say there would be some wait at the weekends as we went on a Tuesday about 12ish and waited 15/20โmins but it was worth it ๐ ๐ฅ๐ณ
Salt and chilli box from the Yummy Inn on Finaghy Rd north. Omg this unreal. Not too spicy, so crispy then half chips and rice. Plus a can for ยฃ7 or so. Delish. We also got a kids meal with chicken balls and gravy but didnโt rate their gravy tbh, need to be darker and thicker lol
The most glorious tapas from !! They have just recently opened their terrace and it is perfecttttt for those gorgeous summer days. It is a suntrap โ๏ธ not to mention the tapas menu is unreal. So they are offering this new menu if you want to sit outside and enjoy a delicious drink al fresco whilst having a wee pick of some nice food. Millars always do everything 10/10. Plus there will be live music some of the days. Definitely check it out. All the tapas were amazinggggg. Thanks for the invite & always a pinch me moment when I get invited to stuff like this lol.
Iced latte season. Not a dome lid in sight ๐
Ps my favourite iced coffee place has shut ๐ญ๐ญwhat happened?? No comments on their socials or anything. I loved there!
Fish supper lunchtime special from Cafe Fish. Second pic is their battered sausages which are also class!
๐ Lisburn Road
Looking for somewhere nice for a cocktail this bank holiday weekend? Definitely check out . I was kindly invited to try their new cocktail menu last week & it did not disappoint. Ps be sure to try their Mango Fuego & the spicy margarita ๐
The best brunch at .cafe . Again, soo late to the party on this one lol. The queues always put me off but tbh it wasnโt bad at all- we went on a Saturday at 130 aka peak time and only waited 20/25 mins or so. It was so worth it!! The coffee and food was so delish. The Eggs Benny was unreal- the siracha hollandaise sauce was class, not to mention the unreal hash brown(ยฃ5!!) but worth it ๐. I can see why this place is rammed, 10/10. I would say put it on your list but youโve probably all been ๐.
First time trying at a few weeks ago. Iโm soooo late to the party on this one๐๐ it was honestly insane. The burger was sooo soft, cheesy and delish. Donโt skip on the garlic & Parmesan fries ๐ง ๐
The best brunch in London at it was absolutely delish. Iโve never tried a dish like it this- I went for the Nduja Turkish eggs complete with hash browns and naan bread. So unique & tasty. We also paid ยฃ25 for unlimited mimosas for 1hr30โwhich I thought was great value! Swipe right > for menu. We then finished at Little Orange Door which was great fun โ๏ธ ๐
Half rice, half salt & chilli chips with steak and curry sauce. When I saw this combo everywhereeee from .belfast at Common Market I knew I had to try it. Such a nice combo- that curry sauce was spicyyyyy ๐ฅต but in a good way lol. It comes to the side so you can add as little or as much as you like ๐ Happy Thursday ๐๐

The steak from is just so delicious. Iโm a huge fan of this neighbourhood restaurant in Finaghy. They do all the classics and also a few unique dishes however I LOVE their steak and the pepper sauce is so tasty too. Donโt forget to check out their cocktail menu ๐
Pizzas by the slice at the new .slice at . ๐ On the Sunday the sun was shiningggg & it was giving serious spring vibes. โ๏ธ So we decided to head to check out the revamp of The Boneyard. As we were a little late we missed Hi Burger but decided to try Slice by Orto- we tried two slices the leek & pancetta and the ham and pineapple. Both were so tasty but the pancetta and leek was class- lashings of Parmesan ontop ๐ I would say- it is a bit pricey just for a slice and you would need two to be full. However I know they use top ingredients and the flavour is always 10/10. Great additional to Boneyard ๐ ๐
Mixed Thai starter ๐ last week we were at which is a casual Thai takeaway on the Lisburn Rd. They also have a few table if you want to sit in :) I love their food- Iโve been loads and itโs always so yummy. We had the mixed Thai starter-spring rolls, satay etc soo tasty!
Swipe right for the most amazing pad Thai ๐ plus itโs BYOB and the staff are sooo friendly.
Roast beef Yorkshire burrito from . A funky way to have your Sunday dinner- I would definitely recommend. We were kindly invited down to try this new Sunday dish that they offer and it was delish & HUGEEE!! The beef was so tender and came with a side pot of gravy ๐. We also had two cocktails of the month which was the whiskey sour (ยฃ6!!). We had a look at their brunch menu and it all sounded so tasty. Definitely making another trip here for brunch. Check it out if youโre a roast fan ๐
Shakinโ beef rice bowl from . This was so delicious, super tender beef cooked in garlic, chilli and spices then it came with rice, a fried egg and a coconut curry sauce. Soo tasty and moreish. Second pic is the beef pho which we get every time- itโs so good. Big fan of Madame Pho ๐ ๐ฅข๐

๐ฎ๐ณ INDIAN STREET FOOD ๐ฎ๐ณ from
๐ Newtonards Road
This new casual cafe & takeaway has recently opened up in east Belfast. I saw on their Instagram that they do dosas(indian savoury crepe;second pic) & had to go. We went for the masala dosa which was filled with spiced potatoes- sounds weird but itโs so moreish. It also comes with a mint sauce and a sambar(south Indian stew) for dipping. Donโt sleep on the pani puris(first pic) they are one of my favourite street food-packed full of flavour and so interesting to eat. Binji cooks all the food himself, itโs proper authentic and homemade. Give it a whirl if this sounds like your jam๐
