Kaboozle
Kaboozle are a seven piece percussion group with members from Bristol and Gloucestershire who met in various samba bands.
We play high energy grooves on a variety of percussion instruments on the street, at parties and events.
Introducing our newest member, Ha, who is joining us on surdos. Ha also plays in Ilu Axe and Bloco B.
Emma and Tom are sadly leaving due to bring too busy with other things, including their bandeoke band Lewis Hamilton's Vegan Dog. Bandeoke with LHVD. They visited today to help teach Ha our arrangements.
Here's Tom's community band at their second official public appearance. New members always welcome. Go along on a Tuesday night at OpenHouse in Stroud for 7pm. First session is free.
Meanwhile, Kaboozle have two new members, more will be revealed soon.
Back in the rehearsal studio today. Important business to attend to.

We started with an empty field.
Looking back at Bath Carnival 2023. We started with an empty field.
We recorded our set on Saturday. Here's one of the pieces. The reaction from the Border Morris dancers had us well oiled by this stage. We really like the crowd whoops and cheers.

The final preparation before we played at Bath Carnival. We had a great time. It was a bit quiet when we started but then the sun came out and the audience grew.

๐ฅ LINEUP TIMINGS HAVE LANDED! ๐ฅ
It's our 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY and we've pulled out all the stops to deliver a wonderfully diverse and eclectic mix of entertainment for you to enjoy at the free family festival in Sydney Gardens!
๐คช As well as the live and electronic acts listed below we welcome back SuperPirates who take over our kids area for an extended session of adventures and play. Surprise walkabout acts will be making an appearance throughout the day and we've got dance workshops hosted by our old friends Biggles' Sound!
๐ฎ As always we've carefully curated an incredible selection of local food traders including a great selection of vegan and vegetarian options.
๐ถ And be sure to get down early as the team over at Music Workshop have prepared a special extended set to open the Main Stage in style, featuring young local performers from across Bath!
๐ In the true spirit of Carnival we ask that all attendees treat each other with respect and kindness, including our neighbours - so please keep noise down when leaving the park after the event in the evening.
๐ฎ Our volunteer litter picker team are un-sung heroes of the event. Pleeeeeeease help make their job a little easier by using the bins provided to dispose of your waste. Let's leave Sydney Gardens looking even more beautiful than we find it!

Not only are they our challenge sponsor for VO2 max but they're also in charge of raising the energy for every single competitor in the running portion of this lung-busting workout & we know they're going to do an awesome job ๐
Safe to say...we can't bloody wait to get them involved! ๐บ
Bath Carnival is an amazing community event that's put on for free. Sad to see a few people complaining about such a positive event.
Carnival's expansion plans slammed by angry locals โWe object that any increase in the capacity will be contrary to public safety and will cause public nuisanceโ
A few more photographs from BoA Green Man Festival on Saturday. There was a noticeably bigger crowd this year right from the start. The sun came out about five minutes into our set too.
After months in the rehearsal studios it was great to be playing to an audience and we were really heartened that people were coming up to us afterwards to say they enjoyed it.
Thanks to Richard Dainton and Matthew Harbour for the photos.
Good times today at BoA Green Man Festival
