We've been super busy lately but dont fear, as always we're doing everything we can to open up more session spaces for you all! Here is a run down of where our group sessions have spaces still in the remainder of the week (private sessions not included, but are available via the website!):

Today was a super busy kind of day! Three of the JSOI team going through NICAS - National Indoor Climbing Award Schemes inductions, JSOI team member, Ralph, was running indoor climbing sessions for us, we also had a team member carrying out equipment inspections at another venue and last but not least I was running around delivering goods recently purchaed through our online store! Rainbows are a part of the Girlguiding group, empowering young girls aged 4-7yrs by welcoming them into a program of activities and experiences tailored to promote fun, friendship and learning! Yesterday, my team and I had the great pleasure of hosting a large local troop at the Corsham Climbing Wall! Thanks to the four JSOI team members running Yesterday's session twenty young girls, some of whom had never climbed before, were able to tackle our routes in confidence, cheered on by their peers, parents and leaders! It was an incredibly rewarding evening at the wall, and I hope we'll be seeing plenty of yesterday's climbers back again in the coming weeks and months for some of our regular sessions! 💪🧗💪🧗

Meet Toby! Toby is a strong and fast junior climber... and if anyone doubts that, then you try climbing all 28 of our routes graded 3+ upto 6a, equivalent to 204 meters, in less than 30mins! 🤯🧗💪

That's right, Toby was taking part in our recently staked challenge to climb every route upto the grade of 6a in an hour (full details here: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/kG64hDfxX7MNBrKp/ ). But that was too easy for this young legend, and he got through all of that in a record time of just 29:31.33! Not only did Toby climb in that short amount of time, but he also managed to sqeeze in a rest too during those 29mins, and having finished the challenge, proceeded to climb all of our 6a+'s too, just for good measure!

It's been a busy first half of the week for the JSOI Team! 😁👍

JSOI Instructors James, Drew, Joe & Leanne were running sessions on Monday & Tuesday across two of our venues.

JSOI Route Setter, George, was setting boulders for Queen's College, Taunton on tuesday.

JSOI Chief Instructor (Me, Joel), is running a full program of sessions today!

And JSOI trainee, Rachel, completed her inital-training and induction back on monday too!

Wow! We are loving how busy we are right now, and it's just ace to be getting stuck in with all of you lovely lot on sessions! We've been seriously enjoying these last few days, and we can't wait to see even more of you across the rest of the week! Thank you to all of you for coming and sharing your adventures with us, and thank you as well to my fab team for helping make it all happen day after day too! 💪🧗

Sadly yesterday a JSOI staff member was ill meaning sessions at the Corsham Climbing Wall couldn't go ahead, but we're pleased to say that the other event we were at, with the Wandering Wall, really went down a treat! 💪🧗

After a morning of sessions run by myself, and while JSOI team member, Jasmine and I were in Bristol collecting bits for an upcoming event, James, also one of our JSOI instructors, was running a full afternoon & evening of sessions for us at the Corsham Climbing Wall! 🧗💪
