Monday a fresh week and all the kids are back to school!! Noah back today and William and Edie tomorrow I will miss them but just to have some peace and quiet for longer than a minute will be pure bliss!! First job is to have quick clean around and then I am sitting down with a hot cup of tea it's got to be obviously!! And I am going to sit and watch Fool Me Once on I have seen and read so much about it that I need to watch it before I find a spoiler somewhere!!

Trying to get back into some sort of routine is proving tricky!! Kids are in bed an hour earlier than they have been obviously not asleep yet and have been up and down a million times already but hoping they will at least eventually fall asleep a little earlier than normal!! I'm very hopeful 😬 right now as I'm writing this there seems to be lots of giggles, wall knocking and chatting so it's not going well!!
Does anyone else have this problem with bedtimes ? I mean William has never slept his whole life so this is just a continual thing, he doesn't like bedtime as soon as the bedtime story finishes he starts getting upset and anxious we have tried absolutely everything and nothing works at all!!
I now worry that he is obviously keeping Edie up sometimes you think you are doing the right thing but are you really?? I have no idea I call it winging it tbh ❤️

A weekend of party's and they can't wait to see their friends!!
Back to school on Tuesday for these two this weekend will consist of trying to get them back into a routine and back into a routine of doing some school work every day because tbh we've not done much these holidays and I've let them just enjoy their break and rest.

All the kids are going to be back to school next week and as much as they need their normal routine back I'm dreading it..... I've started 2024 deflated im supposed to be starting a diet as I really need to and I've loved seeing everyone else's post about kick starting this year with a bang but I'm yet to feel that and I don't know why....... I know I will get there in time but I didn't expect to feel this way at all. I'm really going to miss our Christmas bubble, late mornings, no rushing, our cosy days and most of all I will miss the kids.
Hopefully when they are back to school I will find some motivation and get myself into some sort of routine where I can start to explore exercise more and eat a lot better

All systems go tomorrow !! Noah is moving into Edie's bedroom to give him his own space as William is a nightmare at bedtime to and Edie is in with William so she has more room for all her toys. William and Edie go to bed at the same time even though William is still up at 11pm hopefully the distraction on Noah on his iPad or phone could help just a little bit either that or William and Edie will just be up partying all night!! Edie has started not liking her bedroom we are going through the monster stage so if she is in with William sharing that's company for her to..... I have everything crossed this is a positive move for them all ❤️🏡🌎📸

Muddy walks and big puddles exactly what these two love been out in fresh air getting caked in mud and water!! Will miss them when they are back to school next week as much as they fight, scream, say Muuuuum a million times a minute and eat me out of house and home they are the absolute best company ever 🩷👫🏻🌎💙

It's been a week now and you are still poorly, your temperature is still through the roof, your cough makes you sick and you just don't know what you want. It's been a week of sleeping in mummy and daddy's bed while they take it in turns to sleep in yours but tonight we are trying to get back into some sort of routine as we are all so tired. It's been a week since you and mummy have been poorly even though mummy's on the mend you still aren't. Today we try a new medicine in the hope this works and doesn't make you sick.
Mummy has had to buy smaller leggings as all your new ones she has just bought you will no doubt fit you next year you haven't had a full meal in a week and mummy and daddy are just so relieved when you do ask for something even if it's just a little bit.
My heart aches and my heart is anxious not knowing why you are poorly the little glimpses of hope and laughter when the medicine has kicked in are pure magic we long for you to be better I miss you my sweet sweet baby girl 🩷😘🌎✨

Last week of school!!! Tbh I'm so sad it's supposed to be Edie's first nativity tomorrow she was a snowflake and she isn't well enough to go, last week she missed the school trip to watch a pantomime and now he first school play last year was exactly the same she was poorly and missed everything at her pre school o feel so sad for her. She has had a high temp now since last Thursday and they just don't seem to be subsiding she isn't eating and she really can't afford not to eat there is nothing on her already but at least she is drinking....... a week I have been really looking forward to but now I'm just worried who is going to be next to be poorly, it's always us we always get the bad luck every year at this time hoping I start to feel abit better today.
The boys are so excited that this is the last week they are both really in the Christmas mood now and it's a joy to see!! I just need to get the last few bits so I have a list ready!! Noah finishes early on Friday at lunch time I can remember finishing early every last day of term they don't seem to do that now and I remember always taking a slip home of something to bring in for a Christmas party on the last day to and they don't seem to do that now either which is a shame as I absolutely loved it!!

Not the best start to the weekend, a weekend I have been looking forward to for so long, tonight was the girls Christmas night out with my best friends and I am poorly I'm so upset, it's very rare I go out so I was super excited...... but I guess I will now have to wait for 2024 now!! So now tonight it will be an early night and the final while face timing the girls !!!

What a boy!! William has just finished his nativity's at school he played a school child and had a couple of lines to say which he smashed but he also had to do a solo singing part which I obviously had tears in my eyes for! He absolutely blows me away he was so nervous but he did it and I am so proud of him ✨🎄🎅🏼📸💙

Awful weather in NorthYorkshire today which has resulted in a cosy day in, Noah has just left to go to the trampoline park with his friends and william is going bowling shortly with his football team which he is super excited about!! Pork slowly roasting in the oven ready for some hot pork baguettes and roasties with some yummy gravy I can't wait all before I head off to a night shift tonight!!

My boys aren't used to the hustle and bustle of London at all!! People absolutely everywhere pushing and shoving and just generally in a very big rush..... Coming from a countryside town to the big smoke has been overwhelming..... but we did it together 💙

We found Paddington...... the Christmas markets in London are insane and the smells from all the various food stands are delicious we've had a lovely Christmassy day ❄️🎄🎅🏼📸❤️
