The Bank of England has 𝙍𝙀𝘿𝙐𝘾𝙀𝘿 the base rate to 5%

If you are on a base rate tracker your mortgage payment will be coming down.

Last day of pre-school done for my little girl. We’re so proud of how well she’s done. Bring on the summer holidays.

Just picked the kids up from school and my little Princess was the Star of the Week.

One of the toughest mortgage offers I've ever got over the line.

The lender initially declined the client on something that we felt was incorrect. I had to provide proof, but I successfully appealed this.

Then the surveyor down valued the expected rental income for the property. Again both myself and the client did not agree with this figure. I supplied suitable evidence and won this appeal too.

The lender then cancelled the application as it had gone over a certain timeframe. (caused by the above). I then had to appeal that as well.

So after 3 appeals we got a mortgage offer.

This is where a mortgage broker has got the clients back.

I've been a little quieter than normal on here of late.

Firstly there was a 2 week annual family holiday. For those that might not already know, I finally popped the question and she said yes. 💍 We were away with friends too, so we were all able to celebrate this together.

This was followed up with the 2 week back log of work that I needed to catch up on.

I then went to Germany for 4 days, and when I came back I was ill and missed another week of work.

I'm back in the office as normal now, I and have no more planned leave for a while 😊

Happy Father's Day to all the amazing Dad's out there. Especially mine.

Let's hope England can do us proud tonight.

A slightly later start to the day than normal

It was stay and play morning at my daughters school to celebrate fathers day.

She was very impressed with my Mr Play Doh Head.

Apparently it looks just like me :)

I'm back from my annual leave now.

I have a very long to do list to be getting through so I will be responding to messages, emails and calls as soon as possible.

I'll be out of the office on annual leave as of today.

I will have very limited access to emails during this time.
