Wednesday at 2pm is South Gillingham Parish's monthly MESSY VINTAGE event. at St Matthew's church in Drewery Drive.
Ideal for anyone who finds it difficult to get to a Sunday service, or who finds a conventional service too long - it consists of a short act of worship, a craft activity, and tea and cake. If you haven't been before you will be very welcome.
Wednesday is forecast to be warm, but not dangerously hot, so meeting up with others indoors will be ideal for vulnerable people who have not been out during this week's red alert.

In the light of Wednesday's government announcement, face coverings are now mandatory in public indoor spaces, including Church buildings. (Our regular congregations have continued to wear them since we reopened.)
Despite the current official permission to remove face coverings to sing, we will continue to ask the congregations to sing with coverings, except for those leading worship or singing as performance pieces.
Please do consider taking a free NHS Lateral Flow Test (LFT) before attending.
As and when the CofE gives us updated advice we will update here.
