"I failed yesterday, therefore it follows I will fail again today."
A brilliant line from Psycho.Cybernetics Maxwell Maltz MD. Listening to this made me realise that I've always been so hard on myself to succeed as a creative business owner and never struggle again in life.
Truth is a failure, in my eyes, was a devastating and embarrassing event, I for one never admitted it and never questioned it. Curiosity about why I failed could have helped me, and learning from it could have pushed me to a better situation.
Years of late nights, stress over something that hasn't happened yet and saying โnoโ or "next time" to friends. That was it, that's what I gained, useless feelings just because of thinking of failure.
Well, enough of that then.
I'm great, I'm capable, I'm the bee's knees (as my grandma put it).
I'm going to rock out this year, knock out some awesome jobs for clients and have loads of fun along the way.
And my dear fellow Facebook pals, don't think about the past - give it a wink and move on with a wicked smile.
