We’re having a lovely day raising funds for our chosen charity DKMS UK at Westerham Hall with LK Fayres!

What a wonderful day we had yesterday at Gingham Goose Craft Market! It was lovely to see our fellow crafters again. There is definitely a sense of unity with Gingham Goose! I love how every is so friendly and supports each other.
As you probably know Barbara spends hours creating the little beautiful items, buying the wool and little accessories. She doesn’t take a penny for expenses, every bit of monies raised goes straight to DKMS UK!
So a huge heartfelt thank you to every single person who purchased items, those who told us to “keep the change and give it to the charity” and those who were so kind and interested in Barbara’s talent and DKMS. It was lovely to talk to each and every one of you, from families, children, grandparents and babies. A very special day, with special people, sharing smiles from ear to ear, we are grateful to our community.

We’re so proud to know that every penny raised through Knit Happens goes directly to help those supported by DKMS UK which in turns helps people living with blood cancer, just like the amazing and inspirational Lucinda in the article below.
Barbara Baldwin works incredibly hard, most evenings sitting knitting away. So much care and love is poured into every little knitted creation. Barbara takes no money for expenses. Recently she has gratefully received donations of wool.

We were so pleased to meet Lynda from DKMS UK at the Gingham Goose Craft Market at The Warren Hayes today!
Barbara works so hard everyday, hand knitting all of the beautiful little items, we’re so pleased that her hard work is recognised by DKMS.
Every penny she invests in the knitting, from the wool to the stall hire, from the fuel to get to these markets and the little accessories that compliment every item. She gives every penny she makes to the amazing Charity DKMS, deleting blood cancer.

Gingham Goose Craft Market was just lovely. A great atmosphere, kind and friendly people. It was heartwarming to have so many artists and creators in one room. Hayes Village Hall was full of so many wonderful items, these artists should be very proud of their work.
