To all our wonderful IJ supporters - firstly please accept our apologies for our delay in reaching out to you. Like many we have been doing a lot of soul searching behind the scenes about what a new 'normal' will look like and how our work and businesses will be affected.

Last week we received the unfortunate news that our venues are ceasing to host any public events. Therefore, as you will appreciate, this has completely changed our position for the remainder of the year as we will be unable to host either of our planned physical events. We are however already exploring and expanding on ideas that we had in our pipeline, but we are really mindful of doing the right thing when the time is right.

Whilst we are deeply upset by these announcements we feel this is a real positive opportunity to bring something new to the interiors community and we really hope that you will stay on board with us. We will keep you posted as things develop and if you wish to work or collaborate with us in the interim please get in touch. Stay safe and keep smiling, the IJ team # # #

Thank you SO much to everyone who entered our competition, it really was rather emotional reading through all your nominations 💙 we announced on our stories last week but wanted to share with you here too that our very worthy winner is - huge congrats! All your gifts should be arriving with you this week. We also wanted to invite everyone who was nominated, as VIPs to our next Interior Junction event at The Roundhouse in Derby (which includes free entry and access to certain talks/demonstrations) please contact us if you would like to attend and we will put your name on our key workers VIP access list. Hard to think this was taken only two weeks ago when we were busy planning with 🖤 Today should have been our first ever Interior Junction ‘pop up’ shopping/styling event......very sad but do not fear, we will be back bigger and better! All our priorities right now should be looking after ourselves, each other and everyone we love. Let us all appreciate the little things, the quiet moments, chats with friends, blue skies and the comfort of our homes. Sending you all as much positivity as we can - and virtual hugs too! Here at Interior Junction we are so sad to announce our live styling/pop up shopping day we were hoping to bring to you via Instagram on Saturday has had to be cancelled. After the new stricter measures put in place by the government this week, we feel it is no longer safe to meet as a small group and would be completely wrong at the moment when the message is clear - we all need to stay home to save lives. We will still be promoting all the wonderful small businesses who are supporting us throughout this journey. We will also keep you updated with any new dates we have once we have weathered this storm. Remember - this too shall pass. Please keep safe, stay at home and be brave. The last few weeks have been a real emotional rollercoaster as we have navigated the Coronavirus storm. Torn between either overreacting or being too complacent, have all featured in our daily conversations. The recent escalation has left us in no doubt that we needed to make the difficult but morally right decision to postpone. We all have a connection to those most vulnerable and therefore we respect the advice of the professionals and must do all we can to prevent more families being impacted by this pandemic. Being small business owners ourselves our hearts go out to all small businesses impacted as a result, our promise is to do all we can to support our stall holders and all other independents out there. The support we have received has been heart warming. Lets try and use this as a positive opportunity to come together as a community and help those who need it most.
We have all in our local areas offered to support those in need - ideas such as a ribbon on the door of homes that need essential items, those small acts of kindness could save a life. We continue to plan for our September event and will release dates for the rescheduled pop up soon. To our stallholders - thank you, to those attending the social - thank you, and to you ALL for your support - thank you. Much love the IJ Team 🖤

We are working really hard behind the scenes here at Interior Junction HQ......we have a great line up of stallholders for March 28th selling a whole mix and beautiful selection of homewares, accessories, candles, artwork, plants, cake and so much more! BUT we also have styling demonstrations taking place too in which will show you simple tips and ways to style your sofa, dining table and how to use colour within your home. These will take place throughout the day so feel free to just pop in, take some time for yourself and learn simplistic design tips too. Saturday March 28th, 11-5pm, FREE entry, Darley Abbey, Derby 🖤

Here at Interior Junction we are all about supporting, championing and celebrating talented creatives within the interiors world. We love to support local, small businesses as well as those larger established brands who are in line with our ethos and way of thinking. Tickets have been selling fast the last few days to our first ever evening social event!!! Taking place on March 28th from 730-11pm (after our daytime shopping/design pop up event) in the stunning within Darley Abbey, Derby. Tickets are only £25 each - which includes a donation to our charity , entry, hot meal, welcome drink, DJ, amazing informal panel chat with some awesome Insta interior folk! There is free parking, or it’s a short taxi ride from Derby train station (1.5miles) and lots of reasonable hotels nearby too. Come along and make a real night of it! You may have heard a whisper or two about our amazing first ever Interior Junction evening social on March 28th (taking place straight after our shopping/design event during the day). We are so pleased to be able to support a local charity - who are working towards creating a world where children and young people are free from exploitation and abuse. Our event is ticket only - and a percentage of each sale will be donated to the charity.
