I honestly don’t think I can choose my favourite blend but it usually includes one of these. Because I’m feeling so tired lately these are my go to! Orange because it’s just so good at perking you up and Eucalyptus is soo comforting! Perhaps it reminds me of having a cold and being looked after when little?! 🤧 Scent and memories are so linked! What are your favourites? 💫

Found this note from my Mother in Law on my hen weekend! 😍

My lovely Arlo ❤️

There’s something about this oil that just makes me feel comforted and looked after. I think it goes back to Vicks Vapour rub or Olbas Oil and feeling snuffly as a child. Oils really evoke emotions in a lot of people as scents are such a reminder of good and bad memories. My oils are like a little toolbox now ✨

What an amazing Man. Robin Hanbury-Tenison Survived Coronavirus at 85, and believed so much that the healing garden at the hospital he was treated at helped to save his life. He then went on to climb Cornwall’s highest peak to raise £70k to create another NHS healing garden 💪🏻

I got this card for my birthday this year and it’s very true Netflix has really been useful in the evenings and for my little boy when stuck at home in the rain. But what about the elderly that don’t have this or any company? MSOPC are working hard to deliver hampers to those that need it this Christmas. You can help by calling an elderly relative or saying hello to a neighbour and asking if they need anything when you put the bins out. ✨

How gorgeous are these Chocolate Bars?! Kindly donated to MSOPC (Mid Sussex Older People’s Council) from - we will be packing these up alongside some other lovely donations we have received to those that need some tlc at Christmas time. It’s extremely difficult for a lot of people at the moment and it’s lovely to see how kind and thoughtful people are. Stress is so high at the moment and I’m finding I’m feeling a lot of different emotions, (although I’m sure hormones have a part to play in that too!) Baths, Festive Oils and Chocolate for the win! 🛁 🍫 🍊

Good mental health is not always an end goal. Sometimes it’s working hard each day to keep yourself smiling and upbeat and sometimes this feels too much. Everyone has the right to say I need help or I’m just really not feeling myself. https://www.mentalhealth.org.uk/publications/how-sleep-better has a host of information and a lot about good sleep hygiene which is so important to help you feel balanced. Lots of love to you all 🌎❤️

Ive been a little quiet on here but with good reason. This little one is due in February and I’ve been advised to avoid giving treatments during this period. I will be back soon. Please do stay in touch ❤️

Lovely to see an article in about mood boosting beauty. I’ve tried lately to incorporate aromatherapy into my daily grind where I can and it really does change your mindset. Using an aromatherapy shower gel or bath oil eases my mind after a long day or can wake me up and invigorate first thing. Try using a product with scent you love in a product you apply but just take for granted (like a face cream or body balm) treat it like a 5 min pamper session and breathe in the scent. We all deserve a daily treat ✨🙏🏻

Hope you are all ok out there 😊 Ive been taking a little break on posting as much at the moment - my little man has started school and big changes happening all over place at the moment so taking moments of calm instead ✨ oh and thinking about face mask creations - Muslin mask, aloe gel and lavender hydrolat next I think 🥰

Rose Oil - calming, nurturing and luxurious one of my favourite oils! Rose is excellent for soothing and calming the skin - it’s lovely to use in a product before bed as the scent is so calming! This rose has grown in my garden and smells amazing! I’ve saved the petals and dried on a low heat in the oven to brighten up a body scrub or bath salt mix. Give some a sniff on your walks you can’t not smile after! 🥰

This week is Aromatherapy awareness week. Created by in order to educate people about the benefits of Aromatherapy and the difference it can make to your life. For me whilst massage is important, I also try to use the oils in other ways at home. From diffusing in the kitchen to revive and clean the air, in the bath to relax, or inhaling when suffering with a cold or hay fever. There are endless possibilities! More than ever now they are also used as a way to encourage relaxation. Why not give them a go? ❤️

This explains anxiety to me perfectly. I’ve lived with it for years and in all honestly it’s a bit annoying. For me and for others around me, especially when it seems irrational and hard to explain. It often rears it’s head unexpectedly. During mental health week this is a reminder...If you do feel anxious, and I know a lot of people are at the moment I guess just know you aren’t alone and there are a lot of people that can listen even if they can’t be in your shoes. I trained in Aromatherapy to help my anxiety and to help others understand the benefits of these amazing oils and how they can help. If you would like any advice on how they might help you or someone you love contact me x

I made our kitchen a restaurant this week and cooked a meal for the boys in the house! William loved choosing from the menu and having a big grown up glass for his drink. Obviously he wanted Pizza! ☺️🤩

⭐️Creating a routine ⭐️ With all the uncertainty at the moment creating some little routines around the chaos has helped us. The mornings are particularly tough sometimes so we’ve started to diffuse oils to help wake us up and feel a bit brighter. It’s the first thing my husband mentions now and he actually asks me to put some on if I haven’t already! I nearly always use citrus oils first thing as they wake you up and can help if your feeling a bit sluggish. If citrus isn’t your thing then something like Eucalyptus or Peppermint also has the same effect. If you need any advice on oils or building a blend - send me a message. I have a little boy so I usually have the diffuser going on when he’s in the other room or choose very gentle oils around him. 🍋 🌱 🍊 🌿

I’ve had several people contact me about sleep over the last few weeks. Some are having nightmares, struggling to drop off or waking frequently. Creating a ritual before bed can help. Keep a diary for noting down thoughts so they don’t float about in your head. Think of bedtime as your space to stop (even if tomorrow is looking chaotic). This could be reading, lighting a candle, having a hot drink and listening to a podcast. Scent is a personal choice but I always love Lavender, Rose, Bergamot or Cedarwood to calm and comfort if I’m feeling overwhelmed. Focus on your breath (3 long deep breaths). Sending love ❤️

❤️ this made me feel better. It’s hard trying to keep children occupied - especially when they are likely feeling anxious themselves. William and I have talked about worries and feeling cross. Not had a great day today (just all feeling cooped up and blue)but tomorrow is a new day and it’s for a good reason we are doing this. New day tomorrow ☀️

I love these two boys. Feels like I’ve got to know them all over again. I’ve never had to put so many toilet seats down though! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Grabbed 20 mins this evening to do a restorative yoga session and try to relax a little. It was literally 4 or 5 long stretches but it felt so good to move and turn off my brain for a bit. I also had a blend of Cedarwood, Orange and Rose in the diffuser. 🥰

Today I have been made aware of a new scheme put together by to ensure pets stay safe during the Coronavirus pandemic. They are encouraging pet owners (particularly those that live alone/elderly etc) to print one of these forms. The first page should be displayed on a front window and the second needs to be completed and ideally placed somewhere easy to find like the fridge. With some planning in advance and help from those nearby, those that are vulnerable should then have a plan in place for pets should they be taken unwell. Please share and tell anyone you think may benefit from this.

Hope you are all staying safe and coping ok at home. Up and down for all of us but huge appreciation for the amazing people across the country that are keeping us all going ❤️
