An extra £14.5 Million of joint funding from the Conservative led County Council and Government has been announced to help fix Essex’s potholes and pavements.

This much needed additional investment will help fix potholes and also includes £4 million for a pavement repair scheme.

Earlier on today, I met with Richard Holden MP, Minister for roads and local transport, and we discussed the state of Basildon Roads, and more positively about the refurbishment of Basildon bus station.

For the first year only, it will be discounted by 50% and will cost:

👉£15 for any additional ones or as little as 32pence per week
