• To provide training and volunteering opportunities to help those in the local community develop practical skills.
• To encourage everyone to re-use, recycle and upcycle.
• To create a circular economy by reusing items destined for landfill.
Thank you to the lovely Elizabeth for our £100 donation today . A lady who works so extremely hard for local charities. You’re a star 🌟
We have another request for help, but this one's a bit different!
We are in the process of applying for funding and have been asked for evidence that our work is effective. We would be very grateful if anyone we have helped, or who has experience of what we do, could comment or message us a few words saying how we have made a difference.
Whilst our overheads are low, we do require some funding to keep our van on the road, so your feedback will help us to continue to help the community.
The picture is Patsie, hard at work in our Hub, testing a vacuum cleaner!
We are looking for volunteers who would be able to help with delivering furniture to families in need and to pick up donations .
Obviously you need to be fit enough to carry furniture and white goods, sometimes up several flights of stairs.
We usually go out with a crew of three .
If you are someone looking for experience in the workplace and something to add to your CV or someone that just has spare time on your hands we would love for you to join us .
In the two and a half years we’ve been running we’ve helped over 1000 families and saved over 2000 pieces of furniture from land fill.
But we need more volunteers to carry on the work we do .
We usually work Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings.
Please send us a message if you can help .
Thank you
Hi Everyone
We have completely run out of Microwaves .
If anyone is looking to upgrade theirs for an all singing all dancing one then we will gladly take any working microwaves for our clients .
We can pick up in our cars in the gosport area or they can be dropped off at our lockup in Haslar hospital by prior arrangements as we aren’t there everyday.
Many thanks for your continued support .
Over a 1000 families helped since we started just over two years ago .
Good news and Bad news ! We need your help
The good news! We now have charitable status; it took three attempts over two years but we got there!
The bad news. Our van , after doing 200,000 miles, is now on its last journey to the scrap yard . It has allowed us to collect and deliver 1,000's of items of furniture, but with demand increasing, we urgently need to replace it.
We are asking for any help or suggestions to source funding for a replacement, long-wheel based, vehicle that is younger and more reliable than our existing one. We have started fund raising and have set up a Gofundme page. If you feel you can support us or know of a business that might be able to offer sponsorship, please get in touch.
In the meantime, if you need help or wish to donate we are still here but you will need to arrange your own transport .
Thank you for your continued support

Well Friday 13th wasn’t a good day for Hub4stuff.
We knew the van had problems with the gearbox and was on borrowed time but today it finally gave up the ghost .
We will be actively fund raising and will let you know more about that in the near future but in the meantime is there anyone out there that could loan us a van ( even for one day a week ) until we have enough funds to buy one ?
We have a lot of people waiting for deliveries and don’t want to let them down .
We have a young mum in need of an electric cooker . She has an autistic son and he’s not happy with microwave meals so we need to find her one as soon as possible. If you have one in working order and you’re maybe having a kitchen refit please let us know . Many thanks
