Face Fit Testing is a pleasure when using quality respirators. Quality doesn't come cheap but it does provide adequate and effective protection for the end user. Some PPE suppliers are offering cheap masks that allege to be FFP2 or FFP3 standard when they are anything but. Many of these come with ear loops and poor quality filtering material. Avoid these at all costs as they will not protect the wearers.
This weeks testing with Alpha Solway 2025V NR FFP2 & the 2035V NR FFP3 and BodyTech MM20V NR FFP2 & the MM30V NR FFP3 proved why reputable RPE is essential. Both brands are quality products from UK companies but more importantly products that actually provide the wearers with protection.
