Brrrrr! It's a tad cold out there 🥶 Our guests will not be cold however, as inside our lovely cabin is a roaring log burning fire to cosy their toes on 🔥 The perfect winter escape ☺️

Whether you opt to stay self catering or full board, we always have a delicious selection of hampers of home-made meals and goodies available to order. We collect the left-overs and do all the washing up. You just heat and eat!

Situated on a small sheep farm, in a quiet rural area just south of the Scottish Border, Trotter's Glebe offers holiday accommodation for both horse and rider. With miles of bridleways and horse-friendly byways that lead along winding country lanes, through leafy woodland and across undulating hills, the location is perfect for an equestrian stay.

The open-plan space of Trotter's Glebe boasts a full kitchen with fridge and ice box, hob, oven, dishwasher and plenty of pots, pans and crockery. A double bed with soft cotton sheets and comforting feather duvets/pillows, plus a double sofa-bed for extra guests. The wood-burning stove makes it super cosy all year round and a wall mounted TV completes the sitting area, providing the perfect home from home experience.

Farmhouse Breakfast Basket | from £20 for two people
Start the day right with some locally sourced bacon, sausage, tomato, mushrooms, baked beans, and free range eggs from our hens. Served with a freshly home-made white or seeded loaf, butter and orange juice 😋

Last weekend was totally firework-free stay for guests. Not one single firework heard - We have availability over new year (til the 1st Jan) for anyone wishing to escape the inevitable noisy celebrations. Home-made sausage rolls, cheese scones, rich scones, jam and cream, Mars Bar cake, fruit cake and a choice of specialty teas (Earl Grey, Lady Grey, Lapsang Souchong, Fruit). Not a bad way to spend an afternoon!
