In simple terms, your own personal army that is supposed to be there defending you against invaders has been posted abroad to fight someone else’s war in a far away country, leaving you without any Homeland Security.
The ‘solution’ to your angst, tiredness, depressed feelings & emotions and susceptibility to every cough, cold, sneeze and bug that just happens to be going around cannot be found in a pill bottle - you are, merely, addressing the symptom not the root cause if this is what you think - it lies in your lifestyle choices.

All life on Earth operates according to Universal Laws. Many of us are familiar with The Law of Attraction - you may have even read a few books on the subject or paid out good money for a course that promises you everything but, ultimately, ends up delivering little more than a feeling of optimism and excitement for a few weeks until you realise that little else in your life has changed; at which point, your ‘belief’ takes a nose dive into skepticism and, seeing as ‘belief’ is a basic requirement for getting The Law of Attraction to work with you instead of against you - yes, it works both ways, believe me, I’ve experienced how low it can take you if you have little to no idea what is generating your problems in the first place - your chances of harnessing it to your advantage are pretty, darn slim.
Having said that, it is still, entirely, possible to get The Law of Attraction working for you completely by accident! Yes! By accident! In fact, the reason why I, myself, had no problem, whatsoever, in ‘buying in’ to this Universal Law when I first read about it was because of my own experiences of using it - very effectively - to both create some astonishingly ‘lucky’ outcomes for a number of years only to then, quite literally, see everything that I had achieved come toppling down like a row of dominoes without even knowing the first thing about it - sure, I’d heard the name mentioned a couple of times but I had never bothered to read a single word written about what it was - why would I? I was too busy deciding what I wanted to do, next, then doing it!
Quite literally, the first time I read about the Law of Attraction, I had no doubts around its existence, at all. On a very primal level, I just stumbled across something in a book and thought, “F**k me! This is exactly what I did!” Some of the ‘concepts’ around it, which may appear confusing or easy to misinterpret for those ‘studying’ it, made perfect sense to me because, by sheer blundering, uneducated incompetence, I had somehow developed the kind of mind that just ‘did this kind of sh*t’, almost by default.
My only problem, back then, was that the first time I actually read about it and realised what had happened in my own life, also, happened to coincide with a period of time in my life where my mind was in a very dark place! Imagine my dilemma! I know this stuff is real but I also know that, in my current state of mind, things are only going to go even further downhill from this point on … YIKES!
Needless to say, I did find a way to navigate myself around that particular problem or I wouldn’t be sat here writing this - or doing anything else, for that matter -, right now … but that’s another story for another time.
So, “How does this relate to ME and how can it help ME?”, I hear you say. Well, stick around and you might just learn a thing or two.
Now, it is going to be impossible for me to give you everything in one sitting - there’s just too much of it, for a start - but what I can do in this short burst is give you the first piece of the jigsaw puzzle; the missing piece that you, probably, had no idea you didn’t have, even if you’ve already read any of the numerous books on the subject because those books never tell you this - at least, I’ve never come across one that does.
Call this ‘missing piece’ the prequel to the Law of Attraction, if you will…

Let’s dig into it, then, shall we?
The first thing you have to understand is that the Law of Attraction is but one of many Universal Laws and non of these laws acts, autonomously; they intertwine with one another and, quite often, the reason why you can’t seem to get one of them to work is because you haven’t addressed one of the other laws that supersedes it.
You see, these laws can all be better understood if you look at them as either being a PRIMARY LAW or a SECONDARY LAW; the secondary law cannot be brought into action without the primary law occurring prior to it.
Let’s take The Law of Gravity: is it a primary law or a secondary law?
Well, if you are familiar with the old, ‘What goes up, must come down’ theory, you’ll be able to see that gravity is, indeed, a secondary law, right? In short, unless an object is first propelled into the air, gravity won’t bring it back down to Earth, got it?
So, what do we need to have in place before we can start to utilise The Law of Attraction?
Well, closely associated with the mythical LOA is the another famous double act: EFFORT AND REWARD. Unfortunately, if you are approaching the LOA based, solely, on putting all of your focus on your ‘effort’ in order to receive your ‘reward’, you are just going to get very tired, very quickly and, most likely, burn yourself out in the process.
The books tell you it’s easier than that, right? Also, if your effort was the sole provider of your rewards, many of us would be leading very different lifestyles by now, wouldn’t we?
Well, it is easier, but only if you view easier as meaning you can achieve something with far less physical labour - you still need to do stuff in order to make things happen.
So, before EFFORT AND REWARD can be of any real use to us, we need to have a few more things working in our favour, beforehand.
Enter the LAWS OF CONFORMITY AND RESONANCE - these might be a couple of things you skipped over in your haste to get the LOA doing it’s thing. Let’s break it down…
The Laws of Conformity and Resonance relate to your environment and, subsequently, your thoughts, emotions and behaviours. For example, if you are surrounded by people who harbour certain beliefs, share certain emotions and display certain behaviour patterns, there’s a good chance that these things will rub off on you, as well and even those of us who, somehow, manage to ’rise above’ such environmental restraints are, more often than not, doing so by sheer will power, alone.
Let me tell you something, here: ENVIRONMENT BEATS WILL, EVERY TIME! - tattoo that on your eyelids, people. I could hang of the edge of a cliff by my fingertips but, come back the next day, I’m not there, anymore!
Next, we come to something that gets us very close to being able to get the LOA, actually, working: THE LAWS OF RESONANCE AND PROXIMITY: as stated in The Law of Attraction, you attract the people, situations and opportunities into your life that vibrate on the same level.
In simple terms:
CONFORMITY AND RESONANCE: you are more likely to conform to the beliefs and emotional nature of the people in your current environment, be affected by similar situations and resonate on a similar wavelength; will power can help but it is not sustainable.
RESONANCE AND PROXIMITY: unless you are able to extract yourself from your current environment, you will continue to resonate on that same wavelength. Resonating on that same wavelength will only attract the same kind of people, situations and opportunities ( or lack there of ) as you have always attracted; it is, therefore, imperative that you change your environment if you wish to change the vibration at which you are resonating at and attract something else.
EFFORT AND REWARD: once, and only once, you have dealt with the aforementioned problems can you hope to make any effort you put in reap anything other than mediocre rewards.
Like I said, we are still just scratching the surface, here, but I hope this short post as, at least, got you thinking going in the right direction.

What is FEAR? Ask a hundred people, you will, more than likely, get a hundred different definitions but, what is it REALLY?
When you boil down all those differing definitions, you are left with one simple answer:
FEAR is a belief in our inadequacy to deal with something.
This revelation may be a tough one to swallow for many. The very word ‘inadequate’ conjures up that little gremlin that lives inside our head - for it lives inside all our heads to varying degrees - and the gremlin provides us with the ideal cover story that provides us with a version of events that we can then use as our justification, thus sidestepping any need to us to shine a light on the root cause of our problem.
Live like this - in pretence - for long enough and we become a compulsive pretender. We can all be found guilty of deliberately pretending, most likely, on numerous occasions throughout our lives but there is a notable difference between ‘deliberate pretending’ and ‘compulsive pretending’ that we should become aware of.
Deliberate pretending is a bit like pretending to be something when you are a kid; you are, at least, aware of it.
Compulsive pretending is much more insidious; it can, quite often, lead to a person living a life in some form of continuous disguise: with these people I am this, with these other people I am that and, many of us, will live out our entire life like this and not even be aware that we are doing it.
“I just want people to accept me as the way I am” - pretty difficult if we aren’t even sure what the ‘way we are’, actually, is.
So, back to FEAR!
Why? How? What the heck am I going on about?
In the end, PRETENCE only strengthens the FEAR it was meant to conceal. Without the willingness to face up to our own ‘vulnerabilities’ and shine a light on them, we are doomed to let FEAR govern our lives, period.

Isn’t it amazing how almost everyone is willing to accept the ‘concept’ that our own thoughts are capable of making us sick yet, in the blink of an eye, would dismiss the ‘idea’ that the reverse could be true and our thoughts could be harnessed to create wellness?
Your doctor would be more than happy to diagnose you with a condition of the mind such as depression or anxiety but, in the same appointment, will tell you that the best way to deal with your malady would be for you to take a pill for it.
The simplicity of overcoming so many problems is almost ‘too simple’ for most people to even consider that it could even be worth their consideration - think about it...
Everything stems from our thoughts yet thoughts alone are completely harmless; a thought can only be empowered by us paying attention to it.
You pay too much attention and that though manifests in the body in the form of an emotion and the body begins producing certain chemicals.
You carry that emotion around with you and that emotion controls your behaviour and, if that behaviour isn’t dealt with early on, it then becomes part of your whole personality or, to put it another way, your default way of being.
As a footnote, I’d like to point out to anyone who has ever ‘tried meditation’ and concluded that they ‘can’t do it’ because their mind is just ‘too busy’ is simply missing the whole point. The aim of meditation isn’t to free your mind of thought, it’s simply - in the beginning - to learn how to dissociate yourself from your thoughts; your thoughts are not you. Your thoughts are just thoughts and, so long as your heart is still beating, they will pop into and out of your head almost continuously.
In a nutshell: thought > emotion > behaviour > habit. If you want to change your life situation, simply start at the beginning.
Some things cannot be created overnight; some things need to be experienced, lived & breathed for years before they reach the point where they are ready to be unleashed!
