Removing this old potterton controller which doubles up as a wiring centre and changing it out for a Hive smart thermostat
Old controller was a relic, only certain controls worked and hot water had to remain on constantly.

Much better after CCE sorted it out. 💡 ⚡ 💪

The idea behind this is to improve the regulations around periodic inspection and testing, especially surrounding rental properties.

Currently, and surprisingly there are no regulations surrounding electrical safety checks. Which is madness.

The industry needs to change, and this needs to be regulated a lot more. Currently people are able to offer inspection and testing with no such qualification, often not understanding what they are actually doing.

Good news is insurers are starting to refuse certs from people who are not registered.

As a consumer always check the credentials of your electrician. Don't take their word for it.

You wouldn't hire an unregistered gas fitter. .

We have a big meeting on Monday that we forgot about and need floor sockets in the centre of the room. Can you help Also please mount our massive TV

It's not often you call an electrician because you have a toilet blocking issue.

Our local community centre had a problem with people blocking the toilets with paper towels and were spending a fortune on plumbers.

So they decided to spend a bit at Correct Connections Electrical instead. We have installed 3x hand dryers to eliminate the paper towel problem 💡 ✅ 🥳

After a long day of bending conduit and cable tray we decided to stop off at our favourite pub. And the beer couldn't have been happier to see us 🥰

⚠️ A Message of warning ⚠️

To those who trade or know anyone that trade in the Wi******er area please let them know.

Today I was in Wi******er tool station, on returning to my van with my order I was presented with my van alarming and correction connections admin Lara outside the vehicle trying to chase down a gold car.
Unbeknown to me at the time the driver a older middle aged gentleman had walked past the van whilst Lara was in it and then tried to gain access to the back of van, I presume to get access to my tools.

Luckily for me I have a shark of an admin/Lara that is suspicious of anyone too close to the van 🤣that went on the attack regardless of what she faced to protect our tools/van, so he didn't manage to get anything!
Phew!!

Although shaken Lara is ok 😊, but I do urge people in the Wi******er area to keep an eye out. Although not much to go on he drives a gold saloon with the year of the car being '13', unfortunately Lara didn't catch the all of the number plate as she just acted on the moment as it happened.

Please keep a look out 👀

EICR today. Found this little beauty. Classic example of "it works so it must be ok. Right?"

What's the issue here and why is it potentially dangerous?

An EICR is a full electrical test to ensure safety, and this picks up on the dangers and faults you wouldn't otherwise know about.
