My blend of the week..⁠
Throughout these cold days I have not been without my trusted DEFEND DROPS to help keep sniffles at bay.⁠

I love the feeling of the promise that new, better beginnings are upon us and I make myself intentions of smaller sized gins, no eating bread, more excerise, more meditation etc, etc. Oh but how quickly I break these promises! ⁠

It is very difficult to deny oneself of habits, especially when times are tough. It's easy to revert back to the comfort. I wish I had words of wisdom and advise on how to manage this best, but my only thoughts are do what feels right to you. The main importance is to learn to listen to your body and what it actually needs, rather than what you need. Does my body really want a bowl of pasta or a soothing bowl of soup?⁠
It took me a while but having learnt to listen to my body, things do fall into moderation without the feeling of being denied anything!⁠
