Proud to be a Consultant
One of my first clients few years ago . My experience as a massage therapist gave me some extra tools to help her. At that time I was not so confident about tongue ties, I could have helped her better. Breastfeeding support is a long learning journey, it is not straightforward and simple some times.
Happy breastfeeding!!

World breastfeeding week.
A little reminder as we enter World Breastfeeding Week.
Please get some support with feeding your baby if it’s feeding hard, or a struggle.
IBCLCs are specialists in infant feeding and will be able to help you, whether that’s help with what’s going on right now, or dealing with some feeding trauma that’s happened in the past.
Last day at King's
Last day a NNU King's Hospital, as Breastfeeding Advisor and Milk Bank Coordinator.
I will miss the amazing people that I have encountered here ,the staff , the babies and more than anything , the mums.
They have shown me the incredible strength of humans in adversity, the unconditional love of parents , the resilience and the determination.
They have shared with me their most amazing journeys, their hopes and their sorrows. I feel privileged of being part of that period of time , so intense , so sad and but so magic at the same time.
I will never forget also the mighty babies , little , vulnerable but so powerful, capable of creating such a big impact in the lives of so many people .
They have touched my heart.
Thanks to all .
One example of Rusty Pipe Syndrome.
Rusty Pipe Syndrome is the result of old blood left inside of the milk ducts from vascular breast engorgement.
Is It Dangerous? It can be scary to see blood in your breast milk, but no it is not dangerous.
Rusty Pipe Syndrome is a temporary condition, and it's not dangerous for you or your baby. You do not have to wait until it runs its course to breastfeed your child.
Your breast milk is still good, so go ahead and breastfeed. The small amount of blood is not likely to bother your baby or to have any effect on him or her. On occasions, a larger amount of blood may not sit well with the baby. It could cause an infant to spit up more often or even have a little bit of blood in their bowel movements.
About me
I believe that parents deserve practical and emotional support and practical assistance so that they can recover quickly from the birth and grow in confidence in their role . I like to help facilitate smooth and positive antenatal and postnatal experiences.
I believe in creating the best environment for thriving and I endeavour to hold that space for you and keep it as undisturbed as is possible.
I feel privileged that I can help empower parents to be confident and take control of their choices at a time in their lives when they are more likely to be feeling vulnerable and out of control. Most importantly I will encourage families to trust their own instincts as there is not a right or wrong way.
I know how hard it can be when plans don’t go to our expectations. But also how different can be this experience if we feel cared and protected.
