It's going to be super hot today, so for the health and safety of all our canine friends, we will not be taking any walks. Sorry for the inconvenience .
Took our boy out on Sunday to the very scenic Black Rock picnic site, which is roughly 15 miles away from BS32. There is a small car park and loads of different paths you can take your dog to explore. You can walk your dog off lead, but bear in mine there is some cattle grazing in nearby fields.
Recovered from holiday and our boy has settled back home nicely.. so walks will commence tomorrow 20th June 2024.
A reminder that I am unavailable the 25th and 26th of June (next Tuesday and Wednesday). Can't wait to see your beautiful furbabies...have missed them.
Currently away. Picking up messages from the 18th of June.
No dog has died from missing a walk.
But dogs have died from heat stroke.

What amazing weather today. This is our boy enjoying football.
As a business we don't share pictures of the gorgeous dogs we walk, however, there is the exception with permission from this furbaby mum.
When walking your dog it isn't just the case of walking and picking up p**p. It's important to engage and provide enrichment with the time we have with them. We bring balls, frisbees and other toys to keep our waggy tailed friends entertained as well as chat to them, reward them with praise and cuddles for being so good....after all our boys and girls are all good. ๐
THEN THERE IS THIS.
We forget to express how entertaining your furbabies are to us. Today i walked one of our newbies, who has almost smashed playing hide and seek. It's fair to say this beautiful funny character had me in hysterics. ๐คฃ
With thanks to this ones human mum ๐
We have been asked if the XL Bully breed ban that starts on the 1st of February 2024, will affect any walks we do. We have spoken to our insurers and have been advised that our insurance has a clause that states that they do not cover us for walking any dog breed banned under the dangerous dogs act, whether they have a certificate of exemption or not.
If the dog isnโt covered by our business insurance then we're not insured whilst in charge of your dog either.
At present we do not have any XL Bully's on our books, however, we may in future extend our insurance and do further training so we can walk these breeds.
Us as individuals have no issues with any breed of dog, however, we do have to follow the government's guidelines and the clauses that is on our business insurance.
We hope this clarifies the situation.
That's all walks and visits completed before Christmas. It's been an absolute pleasure spending time with your beautiful babies. They all have such unique personalities, that has had us in stitches at times and the cuddles are pretty awesome.
Thank you for my presents and cards.....I am indeed very humbled by your kindness.
From our home to yours we wish you all an amazing Christmas and look forward to the adventures continuing in 2024.

To anyone who is doing pumpkin lanterns for Halloween ๐ท๐
I will be collecting pumpkins after Halloween on Thursday the 2nd of November in Bradley Stoke and giving them to a farmer whose pigs will enjoy them.
If you would like me to collect from you plz either comment or message me on here or send me a text.
All I ask, is to ensure pumpkins are prepared away from any meat products as this can contaminate the pumpkins and make them unsuitable for pigs to eat. This also include not using a meat knife to cut your pumpkins. If you could plz leave pumpkins in a black bin bag to ensure creepy crawlies can't get in.....slugs in particular love pumpkins.
If you prefer to dispose your own pumpkins, plz make sure it is off the ground as they pose a risk to Hedgehogs and makes them incredibly sick.
Many thanks and Happy Halloween
Definite autumn vibes today.

Just for fun.
Works for cat as well.
Just a little reminder. No walks this week.
Everytime we go home ๐คฃ
The weather is getting hotter and we have put into place, stay and play for those days when it is too hot to walk your dogs. This is an hour of playing in the garden whilst making sure your dogs don't over heat or risk getting burnt paws. Regular breaks between playing for fresh water.
Might be of some help.
Wishing all our clients and their furbabies a very happy new year. Thank you for your continuous support and trusting us with your beautiful pets.
See you all in 2023

Despite the rain, temperatures today are still expected at 25 degrees which is too hot for dog walks.
We will be monitoring the temperatures as the week progress.
Did you know that there is no legal requirements or regulations in becoming a dog walker. As long as you have insurance and a current DBS if you are going into people's home without owners being there, then you are good to go.
However, it is so important to ensure that your walker is first aid trained and that they also do a refresher course every 3 years. Accidents do happen, things like seizures and reaction to bee sting or something as simple as your dog eating something they shouldn't, could be the cause of needing first aid straight away. Walkers are not vets, but their training and quick thinking can buy time until the vets take over.
It is often over looked when people are looking for a dog walker. Ask your walker if they have any first aid training and ask to see their up to date certificate as proof.
We will be doing our refresher course in 2023.
This coming week we are due to have some very hot weather, due to this there won't be any dog walks. Stay and play is on offer and clients will receive a message on the day to confirm if they would like this for their dogs.
Temperatures are expected to be between 22 - 25 degrees over the next few days, despite the rain. So will be checking the temperatures daily to see if its safe to walk dogs...if not, stay and play will be on offer. I will message all our clients on the day that their dogs are due to be walked .
