Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads, Grandads, stepfather’s and Father figures in our little ones lives. The children have made cards and gifts, they are all their own work and they were so proud to make them for their special person.
That’s us done! Enjoy your week off.
See you Monday 17/6!xx
Just a quick reminder that we are closed next week
10/6/24, we reopen on Monday 17/6/24.
We will respond to any messages when we reopen. Thank you
Reminder, we are closed this Monday 27th May for the bank holiday. We hope everyone has a lovely long weekend xx
Our children love singing and dancing, the current favourites are “reach”’by a club. And hop little bunnies. We love the way everyone joins in and older children welcome new children and encourage them to join in too x
We have limited spaces available for September starts due to children moving up to school. Please message us to discuss your requirements.
We have had another fun packed week. We have been competing our nursery rhymes wall, finishing our frog theme with playing in some frog spawn ( well we made look alike frog spawn from jelly and seeds!😂) .
We fitted in lots of garden time, walks and a trip to soft play.
Don’t forget you can now apply for your funding for children 9 months and above to start in September
As you know the children have been learning nursery rhymes. Learning nursery rhymes and songs helps children with speech and language.
The children have loved making the nursery rhymes wall with Jodie. They have taken some of the characters home and others have gone to make this large display. All of the children have enjoyed making their contribution.
We are using the wall as a visual prompt for the children to ask us to sing the rhymes with them.
I think you will agree that this has been a fantastic project!💛
Sorry a bit late with last weeks pics, I know we usually are😂😂😂
The children have had fun planting and loving being outside. We are starting to learn about nature surrounding us, we have began with the life cycle of a frog. We have had great fun with the tuff tray and enhanced our knowledge with stories.
With the sun finally here we have had lots of time outside , we started off with coats on and progressed to hats and sunscreen ☀️☀️☀️
We have continued to learn nursery rhymes, this week has been “Row row row your boat “ , we made boats and sailed them in the tray with the crocodile 😬
We have welcomed a new friend and we are so proud of the children for immediately making friends.
We have planted seeds in our new greenhouse and will be bringing the plants home soon( hopefully 😂😂😂)
Our favourite activities this week have surrounded water with lots of learning about floating and sinking , and measuring.
We also absolutely love the bubble mower and I think the whole of old road can see the bubbles and hear the shrieks off excitement.
Have a lovely long weekend ( closed Monday for the bank holiday) x
We finally get to post this…….please remember to put hats and sunscreen in the bags!!!!!!🎉🎉🎉🌞🌞🌞🌞🤞
Quick reminder, we will be closed this coming Bank Holiday Monday 6/5/24. X
Hi all, we have been sent a slightly different version of last weeks poster.
Here it is, the next roll out of funded hours, for children over 9 months with both parents working. The application window for codes is opening on 15/5/24.
We had to say goodbye to a little friend who is moving on. We were completely spoiled and had some lovely words written and spoken, we may have all shed a tear or two. The hardest but rewarding part of the job is saying goodbye but knowing we have helped them learn and be ready for the next part of their lives ♥️
Happy Earth day! The children have been creating earths to take home, a break from our nursery rhyme project. We have an amazing wall of nursery rhymes taking shape. Alongside this we have had our usual fun and games with lots of fun along the way! ♥️ cute photo dump of the last couple of weeks below!
Ps don’t you think we have the most photogenic children?!!
That’s us done for Easter, the children have had an eggs-cellent (I will stop now!😂) week. We have made lots of Easter crafts, made Easter baskets and chocolate nests to go in them., chicks, eggs to go on an Easter tree….. yes a tree ! 😂Music sessions have been a favourite this week too.
Have a fantastic long weekend and we will open as usual on Tuesday.
Good morning!
We hope everyone who has been poorly is better. Please remember
Children can return after 48 hours CLEAR of ALL symptoms including loose nappies ( poo needs to be normal)
Children need to be well in themselves and eating and drinking normally.
Thank you x
Good evening. We have had 2 children go down with a vomiting bug in the last 24 hours.
We are aware that a family also had it last week while we were closed. We are also aware that it’s rife in the local community currently.
Please make sure that if your child has any form of sickness or diarrhoea they stay home until all symptoms have been gone for at least 48 hours and they are back to their normal self and eating/ drinking normally.
Thank you, this bug can be serious for some and at best absolutely horrible for the rest of us.
Happy Mother’s Day to all our lovely mums and grandmas. The children have had great fun making your gifts and cards. Their cards are completely their own ideas and work, their gifts with a little help from us . Enjoy your day everyone xx
Good morning! Unfortunately we have had a little one taken poorly and taken into hospital . He has tested positive for COVID. He has similar symptoms to everyone else this week with the nasty cold type symptoms. Please keep an eye on your children and alert any Dr if you have to consult one that your child may have been in contact with covid.
So that’s the alarms turned off for a week( yes I know I have lots of alarms, I panic I will oversleep and you will all be waiting outside!😂)
Have a lovely week and we will be back open on Monday 18/3/24 xx
Great fun had by all on world book day, some dressed up , please note the very cute bunny tail! Others didn’t want to and then we had a lovely dress up moment as Rapunzal after the story. We have an extensive selection of books, those in the picture are about half as we store the seasonal ones in boxes. We all enjoy stories and spend quite a proportion of each day reading and making up stories
All children have enjoyed sharing their books from home.
♥️♥️♥️📚📖📙📘📗📕
No words!😂😂😂😂😂😂
Too cute! We are loving these warm spring days! ☀️♥️
Good morning. Tomorrow ( Thursday) is world book day. We will as usual be reading lots of stories . If your child wants to dress up then that is fine but equally so please do not feel they have to! What would be lovely, is if they could bring in their favourite book from home , we can then share it with them and their friends. We will return all books in their bags . Xx
And finally all the other funny cute pics! Have a lovely weekend, don’t forget we are closed on Monday next week x
Valentine’s Day we talked about all the people we love, made our special people cards and had fun in the discovery tray.
On pancake day we made and tried some pancakes and read some lovely stories about pancake day x
It’s been a mega busy , fun few weeks on this lead up to Christmas, all the children have taken part in various activities and made lots of lovely keepsakes for their families. We hope you all have the most magical Christmas time with your little ones. Sending much love Tracey and Jodie xx
Wow!!!!! Is all I can say! Big thanks to Jodie’s mum Delumptious cakes. The cake is huge and so beautiful along with a basket of Christmas shortbread and cookies.
