We’re really pleased to announce that Sencon UK have been awarded a Gold Investors in people award. Only 17% of organisations achieve the ‘We invest in people’ Gold accreditation. This award reinforces our confidence that we really are a great company to work for, with great employees, making great products.
Last Saturday eight employees of Sencon UK represented the company at a charity football tournament at StarCity in Birmingham, raising funds for the Air Ambulances UK . The team won four out of five matches and reached the quarter finals.
Tim Yeates (our Asia Area Sales Manager) summed up the achievement and the spirit of the team : “Considering we only had our first kick about on Wednesday last week, we gave a good account of ourselves. Absolutely brilliant day for a brilliant cause.”

A wonderful tech donation 📺
At the beginning of February, St Richard's Hospice received and took delivery of an amazing 55" Samsung TV kindly donated by Sencon, based in Droitwich, Worcestershire.
Ria Simons, hospice fundraiser pictured said: "We are hugely grateful to Sencon for their incredible donation. We're planning for it to be raffled or auctioned at a future event to raise vital funds for our care.
"Sencon's donation highlights that supporting our care isn’t just about fundraising or making monetary donations, support comes in all shapes and sizes."
Thank you for your generosity and support 💙
Metal waste = money for good causes
At Sencon as part of our commitment we try and keep the waste materials from our production process as low as possible. But, like all manufacturing companies we do generate some waste which where possible we send for recycling. For the last 10 years Sencon UK have been donating metal waste to the Rotary Club of Worcester a registered charity who through recycling have raised money for humanitarian projects around the world.
During the last 10 years Samy Wassef of the Rotary Club of Worcester has collected and recycled 38,599kg of waste metal from local companies. Samy’s recycling and fund-raising efforts have turned scrap metal into a deep well for a school in the Philippines, provided artificial limbs to amputees in India, helped reduce malnutrition in young children across Africa, reconnected water supplies in Nepal, treated avoidable blindness in children across Asia and Africa as well as helping many other charities across the world.
Sencon is proud to support Samy and the Rotary Club of Worcester in turning metal waste in to money for good causes. Well done Samy and hears to the next 10 years of fund raising.
