Painting was put on hold for a while this summer while I pursued other things. When I am not painting, I am a Forest School leader and spent six weeks in July/August co-leading Forest School camps in China. In addition to the many amazing outdoor activities the children did, I led art workshops showing the children how to paint Plummer style. Six weeks, five camps, around 60 children and each painting different and unique! ‘Every child an artist’ (Picasso) 🌸🌻🌺

So I did a thing this summer - amongst other things (🇨🇳) - 3 weeks of hard labour lifting turf, a week of tilling and seeding, 6 weeks of watering in the heatwave with a hose pipe ban - labour of love that’s paid off! 🌸 🌺 🌼

Just off the easel - people think it is relaxing to paint - this one was a challenge. All motivation gone through Covid lockdowns and this took a year to paint. It’s been a journey to see it through to completion - my mantra ‘never give up’ was put to the test. Now I just have to keep the momentum going and start the next one.
So - here it is ‘Jersey Dance’ available for sale once it is varnished and framed. PM if interested. 🌼🌸🌺
