Hannah & Phil's wedding was a super special day for many reasons, one reason being that they got to share their day with their beautiful little boy Archie.

After booking their original wedding date, they discovered that Hannah was pregnant... and little Archie's due date actually landed on their WEDDING DAY!

One way or another, Archie was determined to make an appearance at his mum & dad's wedding, so they cancelled their initial plans. A couple of years & a pandemic later, Hannah, Phil & Archie travelled from their home in Dubai to join their family and friends for their wedding day at Doxford Barns.

They may have cancelled their original date, but having Archie at their Wedding made it extra special. A gorgeous day for the loveliest family 🤍✨

A very special, full-circle moment today, celebrating the brand new Mr & Mrs Hindmarch!

Nicola & Thomas got in touch just over a year ago to assist with their wedding planning & wedding stationery. We all actually went to school together, so it was a little surreal to be planning their wedding!

From Creative Wedding Design & Styling and Set-up, to Save the Dates up to On the Day Stationery, N & T have been so much fun to work with. Thank you so much for trusting me with your vision. It was so special to see you as a bride this morning!! 🤍✨

SPEECHES 🥵

Now, we all know that (for most of us), speeches are the part of the day that people DREAD the most, because it's so damn nerve wracking! 🤢

So, here are some handy tips to make sure your speech is one to be proud of 🙌🏻

1) Planned to perfection 💌

The longer you put off the job of preparing your speech, the harder it'll be and the more nerve-wracking it'll become! Take some time to begin your speech, and allow yourself some time to make adjustments before the big day. Practise it around the house and to friends & family- as the saying goes, failing to plan is planning to fail!

2) Keep it short & sweet ⏳

There's nothing wrong with giving yourself a time limit...short and sweet speeches keep everyone happy. It ensures focus of your guests, it's over as soon as you know it and, let's be honest, it means you can relax once it's over! Extra tip: under 3 mins and you're onto a winner 🙌🏻)

3) It's all in the heart ❣️

Your guests have probably been to lots of weddings and feel like they've heard it all before... so make it personal. It sounds incredibly cheesy, but in the end, it all comes down to speaking from the heart!

4) Take a breath 💆🏼‍♀️

I know it can be nerve wracking, but don’t rush – it’s easy to speed up when you’re nervous, so take deep breaths and pace yourself 🧘🏼‍♀️

Yesterday, I had the absolute privilage of spending the day at Hannah & Phil's wedding as their Wedding Coordinator & Master of Ceremonies.

H & P only got in touch to book me just over a month ago to ease some pressure so they could enjoy their special day. When I say we clicked, I mean it. We hit it off straight away, and it was as if we'd been friends for life 💕

More from this beautiful wedding later on, but I just wanted to say a massive thank you to this incredible couple for having me play my part in their special day.

Such an amazing team of suppliers were involved in this breathtaking wedding too!! Can't wait to share 🤍

VENUE SPOTLIGHT ✨

This special venue always remains so intimate & personal, which is largely down to the fact that Richard & Emma, the owners of Pepper Arden, play such a huge part in their couples' special day. Nothing is ever too much trouble... as soon as you walk through that beautiful entrance, you feel at home 🤍

I assisted Hayley with the concept of her wedding, along with recommending and booking some very special suppliers for her big day. Everything looked (and was) incredible, and the couple enjoyed the most beautiful day surrounded by their loved ones 🤍

I hope to be back at this breathtaking venue very soon, and working with Richard & Emma once again. Pepper Arden Hall will always have a special place in my heart 💕

I still feel incredibly fortunate to have worked with C & J on the planning and coordination of their day at the absolutely breathtaking Durham Castle. Their wedding was full of special touches- the biggest being that they travelled from London to be married in the city where it all began, where they met as University students.

Together, we worked hard to design their perfect day, which included 3 different wedding themes, 3 dress changes & a full day designed around opulence, romance and most of all fun 🤍

Such a unique wedding day which will be one to be remembered by all (guests & also suppliers!). A true honour to have this gorgeoud couple choose me to play such a big part of their wedding 🖤

As a Wedding Planner, choosing incredible suppliers for my clients is one of the most important jobs. I happen to be extremely lucky that my mam is not only an amazing wedding florist, but she completely takes on any challenge or (sometimes crazy) requests I throw at her 🤣

In April, my gorgeous couple Chessie & James had 3 wedding themes, the evening reception being super bright & colourful to wow their guests as they entered the room. I think my mam may have thought I was mad when I sent over my ideas to her, but just look at how INCREDIBLE that shimmer wall arch is 🕺🪩

Totally obsessed with the fact that bluebells are EVERYWHERE at the moment!

We bought our first home in December, and we're pleasantly surprised to have a garden full to the brim of them! I'll never be able to look at bluebells without thinking of this most gorgeous day 🤍

One minute was next to us, the next he'd completely disappeared... and found this incredible woodland filled with bluebells in the grounds of ! A totally magical afternoon ✨

The most gorgeous images of our beautiful signage has landed in our inbox this morning!

We had the pleasure of designing the most elegant wedding stationery for the lovely & Martin on Saturday.

Our monochrome "pick a seat, not a side" sign with subtle pampas detailing informs guests on arrival to the ceremony that there is no set seating arrangements. We worked closely with to complement the floral designs, and it looked beautiful!
