I do love making birthday cupcakes - blue and gold theme for these!!

So, my husband doesn’t really eat cake but I wanted to make one (mainly for putting up with me) for his birthday last year. Totally diary free, including the chocolates sourced especially for this!

I have made this cake before but in a smaller size. Topper and other card details all made in house with figures that can be washed and kept by the lucky Henry.

A whopper of a cake made as an order for a friend. She had a very specific theme and after much discussion we agreed upon the design as shown. The fox is cake which is then carved into shape and covered in fondant then hand painted. The horn, person and horse are all hand made in house with fondant and modelling chocolate.

These cookies turned out great, using the gorgeous artwork by Clare Brownlow Pheasant Feather Art for an event held by Marina Gibson in September 2023. All packaging is fully recyclable too.

Ever so slightly challenging working with chocolate is the crazy heat back in September 2023 but I got there with perseverance.

I enjoy working with different shaped buttercream scrapers….. this was a challenge with the two colours and two profiles of scraper. The mini hand painted bumble bees and dragonfly were my favourite part for sure.

You should always celebrate with cake!! Well done cupcakes for passing his exams.

Once again, I apologise for the radio silence on my end . I have been taking a few weeks rest with my family and just catching up on life admin!! I have lots of things to show you moving forward starting with these cupcakes. Last year I did lots of Man U themed cupcakes… this time Aston Villa.

My little boy moved up from nursery to Preschool in September.
As a little thank you I made some gluten free (one of the teachers is gluten intolerant) decorated cake pops with individual names on.
Arthur, my little one, handed each of them out ….then asked where his was 😆

Tomorrow evening from 5pm we will be back in broadway centre on the green. Last week was a sell out event so I have made lots more for this week!! Wrap up nice and warm and come down to say hello. I will also have the Christmas hamper on display ready to order for collection just before Christmas.

Simple and elegant with fresh flowers. I made this wedding cake for a local couple tying the knot at the end of the summer just gone. Plain white fondant covered tiers with fresh flowers - covered using the method of covering the stems in chocolate (I also wrapped the stems in floral tape because thats me). Delivered and set up at the venue in the beautiful Warwickshire countryside. Wootton Park

This was the third time making this design of cake …. This time a 10” round version but with added fondant vegetables on top. I was super proud of my "potatoes" 🥰

After making my little boys John Deere tractor cake, I vowed not to make another one similar….that didn’t last. This time CLAAS Combine for a lucky little boy.

As it wasn’t a big birthday for my mother in law I only made a quick buttercream cake with florals - stand by for next August ….. its going to be a big one!!

I've made this design of cake previously and it was exactly what the customer was looking for so I made it again.

A little reminder I will be at the Graftons Village Hall tomorrow from 10:30am until 3:30pm (or sell out) with lots of yummy treats including our Christmas hampers which will be able to preorder for collection in December (probably the 23rd and 24th) Come along and say hello.

A simple and elegant buttercream cake decorated with fresh flowers and card topper made in house to celebrate what what have been a ladies Grandmas 80th birthday. What a lovely tribute.

Tonight we will be at Redditch Cricket, Hockey & Rugby Club for both fireworks displays.
We’ve got lots of freshly baked goodies as well as warm loaded brownies (warm fudge brownie topped with whipped cream, marshmallows, sprinkles and sauce)

Back in July for the Game fair at Ragley hall I was asked by the lovely to provide some corporate cupcakes for the event she was holding over the weekend on behalf of NFS and in conjunction with . They didn’t last long by all accounts.
