Golf Day 2024

What a fantastic day Friday was! Taking photos for The Lily Foundation’s golf day at . It was awesome to see so many people come together to raise money for such a great cause.

It was also really amazing to see some rugby legends, like Rhys Priestland, Matt Perry, Martin Haag, Bryan Redpath and Bruce Reihana, among many more! It was also great to see bath rugby and Scotland rugby internationals Cameron Redpath and Finn Russell speaking with David Trick in the evening.

What a wonderful day, and such a great opportunity! Thank you so much guys!

Bath Combination Vase Final 2024.

Whilst at The Rec a couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to take some photographs of the first match of the Bath Combination Cup final 2024. The second proper outing for the 150-600mm lens, and another outing for my trusty ef 70-200mm f2.8 lens.

I truly enjoyed this shoot and needless to say the 150-600mm sigma is a great addition to the lens collection.

28th March 2024, Bath Rugby Legends and Partners Golf Day.
What a great day taking these photos, even thought the weather wasn’t the greatest!! I was tasked by the Bath Rugby partnerships team to document the day, taking photos of legends and partners arriving, photos of the golf itself and then photos of the presentation. Was such a fun day, really glad the rain covers came in handy to keep my cameras dry!!

Last week I was asked to take photos of ‘s dress rehearsal of their spring show, Showtopia, at ‘s Roper Theatre. Using a Canon Eos 6D mkii equipped with an ef 70-200mm f2.8 lens & a canon EOS 90D with an ef 24-70mm f4 lens, I was able to capture a range of photos, from close-up portraits, to photos of the whole cast on stage.

Using Adobe’s new firefly ai feature in photoshop, I was able to remove obstacles and people from the photo effortlessly. By highlighting the person or obstacle in the way and selecting the generative fill option, you can then ask firefly to remove what’s in your selection and it does it for you! Amazing feature in Photoshop!

Bath Fireworks 2023

If you look back through my posts you’ll see that I love taking long exposure photos at night, creating light trails and painting with light, this series of photos were taken as a complete experiment using 3 GoPro heroes. These were set up using the night lapse feature, taking a photo every thirty seconds. They were all set up with automatic exposure and a max iso of 100. The framing could’ve been better but when you’re setting these up to run and be left to it you’re always going to struggle to get the perfect framing. Safe to say the experiment was a slight success, maybe next time I’ll set up my SLR.
