Hi everyone, my name is Claire and I’m the face behind CC’s Cakes. I just wanted to let you all know a little about me and why I am starting this small buisness. I have a background in Food Retail and worked for the Coop for over 20 years. During that time I worked in various roles but spent around 16 years as a Store Manager.

I have 2 little boys and 2 step daughters so as you can imagine working a full time job with a lot of responsibility and unsociable working hours can cause some issues with childcare and I felt like my work was getting more of my time than my family. After having my 2nd son I decided to leave my job and be a stay at home mum. Now that both my sons are at nursery I am starting my own small buisness from home selling celebration cakes, cupcakes, cookies and traybakes.

I got into baking when I had my first son as I started making my kids birthday cakes. I really enjoyed it and felt like it was something I could take from a hobby to a job. Last year I completed a course at Fife College in cake making and decorating which I really enjoyed and I learned so much.

I have had lots of support from Connected Parents Glenrothes and wouldn’t be doing this without them, they have been amazing ❤️.

I make celebration cakes for birthdays, anniversary’s etc. I work with both fondant and buttercream.

✨️About Glow Bambino✨️

Our classes are carefully crafted using theatrical techniques, props, music, puppets and lighting to focus on early years developmental stages.

🐛 Every adventure takes you to different sensory worlds of wonder and discovery, all in the dark with the glow of our rainbow lighting. These will be lead my myself and our magical Glow worm Woo Woo.

Each session includes coffee time for parents, adding a welcoming, friendly social for you & your baby. Classes will last approx 50 minutes with 10 minutes for snacks and chats.

Classes are aimed at babies aged 8 weeks to 18 months approx. Your little one can glow and grow with us, meaning if you choose to re-enroll in our block classes, they will experience the same stories at some point but experience then in a different way due to their next developmental stage 👶🏽

⭐️ Glenrothes - Tuesdays
⭐️ Kirkcaldy - Friday mornings
⭐️ Leven - Friday afternoons

Our classes run on 3 week blocks. I will run the odd Saturday Glow dads class. Also look out for our seasonal party classes - Valentines, Easter, Summer, Halloween and Christmas.
