On the 9th May, some of the Move Management Team are taking on The Killer Mile to raise money for Cancer Research UK - a cause close to our hearts.

The famous Mow Cop killer route includes a steep 570ft climb and is no mean feat! Our team is made up of both experienced runners, and some who're lacing up their trainers for the first time - including one team member who is currently in remission!

During a move, it’s important to protect your walls and floors. Especially if your moving large and heavy items or machinery. We recommend installing specialist floor, wall and lift protection prior to your relocation to minimise any mess or damage to your new site.

Make sure all delicate items are well protected ahead of packing and moving...
✅ Use bubble wrap, tissue paper, newspaper, and even blankets to wrap up delicate items. This will also help prevent fragile items knocking together in transit.
✅ Protect items from rain or getting damp with plastic wrap.
✅ Clearly label any boxes that need to be handled with care – to ensure everything arrives safely, in one piece.

Our computer systems are essential to keep our businesses flowing.
That’s why we always aim for minimum disruption during your IT move.
Our top tip for a seamless tech move is to have each employee unplug their computer and all the wires belonging to them, placing them together on their desk with any associated tech. Finally, have employees label them with their name and new room number.

This will ensure everything is ordered and packed correctly - and more easily set up upon arrival at your new office.
