Rolo came from a home but sadly is not in good condition. His eyes were glued almost shut with gunk, he could hardly walk due to matted fur, his teeth are in dreadful condition, he has, the vet believes, retained testicles, ingrown claws, a hernia and a lump that needs removing. He had an emergency shave the night he arrived and is now more comfortable in a foster home with eye drops and some pain relief until he has surgery.
We were delighted to work with Cavashon UK and Bichon Frise Rehoming Group to secure this boys place in rescue and for their members amazing help by raising over £2k towards his vet treatment.
Bichon Frise are a wonderful breed but their coats are high maintenance. No one should consider a dog like this unless they are willing and financially able to ensure the dog receives the essential grooming needed for their welfare.

Toby joined us today. Tragically his owner is very ill and Toby is the fourth of the farms dogs to join us. They have all been loved and cared for. Toby has moved in to a foster home which is all very strange for him. He has had a bath and a little tidy up. He won’t be ready for adoption u til he has been neutered and assessed so no application yet please.

This huge, gentle, girl is Bella who has been living on the streets in Turkey where she was being attacked by other dogs. Although not strictly wonkie we have offered her a place with us in Wales. Not only is she at risk from other dogs but also from someone taking her to chain up as a ‘guard dog’ or potentially worse. She has now been moved to a pet hotel type establishment under the watchful care of our great friends at Kusadasi Paws and Claws. It will be about four months before she is able to travel but in the meantime she is safe and getting excellent care. We will do some online fundraising to pay for her expenses.

Pip and. Coco are miniature poodles who have come in as their mum is no longer able to care for them. The boys are both going to be having some dental work and Pip is diabetic and has cataracts too. The boys are adjusting to life in their foster homes and we are unable to accept adoption enquiries u til the boys are ready for a new home.
In the mean time of you would like to nominate us for a £1k award from the 12 Days of Govong Campaign it wiould a great contribution to their veterinary care.

This is duke snd he arrives in the UK on Thursday. We thought he had a home but yet again the adopter changed their mind last minute 🙈

He is about 1 year old and such a sweet natured boy. Good with kids, cats and other doggies. Small in size, he is fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, wormed and will come with his own passport.
