Here’s a blast from the past Big Bear with Brigit on cello..
So said to hear that the lovely Brigit Forsyth died yesterday. It’s was a privilege to to have her playing cello with us. She loved being in a ‘Rock’ band .. She played on four tracks on our first album the Pitch, Durt, Big Bear and Killer in the night.
Here is a demo version of durt she did with Rosco..

Still a few CDs left - and if you buy one, you're helping to flush away toilet poverty!
Locally made lockdown Music ….
We have a limited number of ‘physical’ CD’s and we will use some of the proceeds from this to do something worthwhile, so to spread the love we would like to twin the ‘shangriloo’ (as featured on the CD cover) with a loo somewhere that really needs one.
So for every CD we sell we will donate a couple of quid to the Toilet Twinning project and if we sell enough CD’s we can twin the ‘shangriloo’

So DM us if you would like one.
The album is also on Spotify, amazon & all the usually streaming platforms.

Nefarious Sky The Kitchen sessions - One stormy afternoon - Track 4 Nefarious Sky - Live recording with a soothing video
The Kitchen Sessions – One Stormy afternoon track 3
The first two songs from Rosco were firmly rooted in Glasgow.. ‘Big Bear’ takes on a journey to visit the beautiful people in a mountain resort in the Californian hills near LA. The landscape of the song is beautifully evoked by Mike’s gritty slide guitar and the rumbling cymbals which blend surprisingly well with Brigit’s sweeping cello lines. The fretless bass slides around in the low end tying it all together. To really get the feel for this track you can check out the video.. here.. authentic footage from California circa 1972..
Day 2 Track 2 - 4 Aces
Another biographical offering from Rosco .. we love playing this one the it just rocks along like a train on a track .. we would be the first to admit that this recording isn’t perfect .. but there is a kind of beauty in imperfection.

The Kitchen Sessions - One stormy afternoon
Day 1 track 1 - Summerlee
The tracks that make up this set of recordings were all recorded live in the ‘Home studio’ (which is also occasionally used as a kitchen).., no messing around with overdubs its just what happen in the day when we all sat down to play and drink a little wine
We had planned that we would return to these songs and rerecord them and smooth out some of the quirky bits .. it was all scheduled for a April .. then lockdown happened.
So we decide to put these versions out there .. please give then a listen .
Day One track one Summerlee was one of the first songs we played together .. one from Rosco’s back catalogue.. this song builds and Brigit’s cello beautifully weaves through the melody echoes the melancholy lyrics
