I have been messaging little small businesses that I will be posting on here, that will be holding raffles to raise money for the keep me close foundation!

I have started to make little wax melts, cause everyone loves a beautiful smelling home 🥰

Little memory bears are in the process of being made (I will post this tomorrow!!)

A organised walk from Newquay to Derriford which will be tan through go fund me is currently being set up, however it is a little more difficult due to the winter weather setting in!! However, if you would also like to participate in a walk please do just give this page a message!! 💙

Tonight all around the world we light candles at 7pm to remember babies lost too soon.

Some babies were lost a couple of weeks past a positive pregnancy test, some we only got to see on screen, some we got to hold but had to say goodbye to heartbreakingly early.

Some people will be remembering a loss from many years ago and some will be lighting candles for a loss so fresh it physically hurts.

Some will be mourning a baby no one even knew about, some will be with their families and some will be lighting candles on their own.

Some of us will have found our happy endings, some of us will still be waiting and some of us won't know which way to turn.

Everyone will have a different story but sharing those stories will only help us all feel less alone.

Thinking of everybody who is remembering their little lost star tonight x

Learning that you have lost, or will lose a pregnancy or baby, or the loss of a child before during or after birth, can be a confusing and profoundly distressing time for many parents.

The Coronavirus pandemic has brought additional challenges, with changes to maternity services, and social distancing restrictions that may add to your feelings of grief or isolation.

It is important to know that in addition to services provided by your Trust, support for families bereaved through pregnancy or baby loss is still available through these challenging times.

The goal for this page is to help raise money for the Derriford Neonatal Unit- Keep me close appeal.
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at University Hospital Plymouth cares for babies born from around the Devon and Cornwall peninsula who have either been born prematurely or with other life threatening illnesses. As the ward has the highest level of expertise and equipment, the ward cares for babies from all over the South West and babies are often transferred in from other hospitals for a higher level of care when needed. It is the only ward of its type this side of Bristol.

On October 1st 2020, Hayley Rogers was born 5 and a half weeks early. The staff were absolutely amazing, and did the upmost best, but sadly Hayley passed away on the 3rd. She was such a beautiful precious strong girl, who gave a good fight.
As a family, we can not thank the staff enough for their around the clock care and support.

The aim of this page is to fundraise money for unit. Specifically for the equipment and the mum and dad accommodation.

Watch this page for raffles, tombolas and other goodies in the hope of helping other families and babies!
