Women are extraordinary.
And even though it is true that I have always had the utmost respect for them, but recently came to realise that I had never been anywhere close to understanding what it really meant to be a woman.
Not until our own efforts to become parents began, and we embarked on the amazing journey with the fabulous woman who would give birth to our daughter.
The expression “Men are from Mars and Women from Venus” has taken on a completely different meaning for me.

We say that things get worse before they get better. This is especially true when it comes to depression. We are the leaders of our own lives.
But sometimes, we can lose track of that, get lost and sink deeper, deeper and deeper.
All experiences are unique and this is mine. I have been mulling over this blog for years. And finally, here it is!

Why is it that we don't hear more talk of finances and the need to put money aside for an early retirement? It turns out human nature is partly to blame. But we can all do something about it.

In this interview on A 1000 Voices, an ally from the Netherlands recounts is personal experience with homosexuality. This is the first time ever that they are disclosing this story.
They think it is important to get it out there. They hear about a lot of homophobic violence and it shocks them every time. Though they are ‘as straight as an arrow’ they feel very close to everyone and the homosexual part of society in particular. They think it’s a pity that most of the voices that ask for help against such violence comes from the same group, while they should come from everyone, and that means me as well.

I am delighted to share the latest interview on A 1000 Voices with Jeanene Williams (She/Her)
Jeanene is a transgender woman who came out late in life at the age of 49 and has a proud supportive partner of over 25 years and one amazing daughter. She is a seasoned Software Development manager with almost 30 years of experience managing teams working on a wide range of languages and platforms.
Jeanene said - "The most amazing coming out moment was when I told my work. Our CEO put a nice piece in our company newsletter offering the support of the entire company. I will never forget one simple line in that piece, “We are pleased to support Jeanene’s choices and manner in which she chooses to live and celebrate her life.” Simple line but set the scene for everyone in the organisation and was the first time I had “her” associated with my name in writing." - READ MORE

Amazin said: « ‘Coming Out’ is a very western ideology in the east it’s all about ‘Coming Home’ and what we will do for the family and how we will support the family unit with our career and life and usually multiple generations live within the family home with the eldest child helping to support the family unit. »
