Waving goodbye to 2023 and feeling grateful for all of the continued supported from all the people who choose to sit in my chair, and my friends and family.

In 2023 I took the step to be fully freelance. My worry was of feeling alone, however I’ve met some amazing people, not only clients but suppliers in the wedding industry, educators, business coaches and many freelance hairdressers.

Thank you to and its members, you are all so welcoming. At 2023 Inspire I met so many people that I will continue to meet at future events and courses (and maybe a few cheeky socials). I feel very proud to see my work being used as part of next year’s event.

Super excited to see what 2024 brings, and I wish you all the best for the coming year ❤️

ONLY A SPRINKLE … Do you feel your getting blonder and blonder? Are you having full head foils every time you visit the salon? Thinking your blonde is becoming more maintenance than you wanted? If this is you then STOP…..I believe you can be blonde and not have to be in every 6weeks having full head of foils. I absolutely love letting your natural base be part of the overall colour. Letting your base colour helping the blonde pop. As you can see from the before the hair was lovely and blonde and client wasn’t sure if to book in for full head or not. It absolutely didn’t need to be full head of foils, so after a consultation we have done a halo of to foils (around the face frame and back for pony tail up) then sprinkled a FEW blended baby lights over the crown and parting. YOU LOOK GREAT

For a few years this lovely lady has had her hair done to match some clip in hair extensions. She felt her hair wasn’t think enough and wanted the extra comfort of a little more.

However today the consultation revealed that at home she has been embracing her natural wave and that’s given the hair more body. So we refreshed the multi tonal blonde and took a few inches off the length and said good bye to the clip in extensions. We love that your confidence has grown and I think you’ll agree she looks fantastic ❤️ let’s see how the natural wave is embraced.

WEEKEND WITH @wellaprofessionalsuki Super excited for the season ahead after spending the day @wellahairuki studio. Thank you to all of the educators today, I loved the colour blocking techniques. Not sure which was my favourite from bold red or pretty soft pink. My highlight was @fergaldoylehair teaching the perfect models pose to capture the hair, while making the clients feel comfortable and fabulous. Without @fha_official these opportunities aren’t always available, so once again thank you for pushing us freelance hairdressers. WARM FESTIVE FEELING

felt it was time to say goodbye to summer. She wanted to keep the maintenance low as winter is here and her time is limited with having a four legged eating machine🐴 to care for.

First we had an in depth consultation and looked at visual inspo images. Always a great idea to clarify we are on the same wavelength. With wanting to keep as close to natural base we blended into a rich copper.

We then had a good catch up and talked ponies and a hot drink. Sadie then took home a colour mask to keep the ends in the best condition until her next appointment at the end of January.

Good hair for the festive season has begun. Who’s excited to get there hair done?

This is the first time I’ve entered anything like this and to my surprise I’ve finalised. I absolutely love doing wedding hair and I feel honoured that my 2023 brides have voted for me at this years awards.

Time between appointments

I last coloured .anita 3 months ago. My mission is to make the grow out as soft as possible making the maintenance time manageable especially for a busy mummy.

Proud of you for staying away from over use of purple shampoo as it can dull the hair with a build up of product. This time we have stayed with a warmer blonde balayage. This will allow a soft grow out again.

HAIR OF A HAIRDRESSER

It’s always a complement when a hairdresser visits me for there hair tlc. I’m lucky enough to do a few fellow hairdressers including some bosses I’ve had in the past. (Nothing like alittle extra pressure)

As a hairdresser many think we just do ours ourselves, and ok from time to time we may put a toner on. However it’s nice to have the full treatment from someone else. Plus it’s a great opportunity to get expand hair knowledge and ideas.

Today I’m envious of a this copper tone base with a sprinkle of highlighted areas and lightened face frame.

Full restyle….but with extra meaning! (Keep reading)

always gives me a message every once in a while for the big chop. However this time we added some soft pieces for an extra treat.

Now will know how many times…but it’s a good few that she has grown her hair and then cut off a good length to donate to .

amazing team make wigs for young people who have lost there hair due to cancer and other conditions. Sadly many of us know of someone being treated with cancer.

You may never of even realised you could donate hair to a charity…or maybe you could be sponsored to raise money for a charity 💜 So if your thinking of having alot cut off please do look at there page. Nice to think there’s a little person feeling a little more confident to face there battle.

The day has finally come, I feel honoured that we have build up a trust and I get my hands on this gorgeous head of hair.

A little back story, Wendy will admit that hairdressers are frightening. Wendy has a tight curl pattern and a millimetre cut off feels like 2 inches to her. Over the years Wendy has been colouring her own hair but we have spoken about going lighter as them natural grey hairs come in to life.

Wendy has been a superstar and stopped colouring the full head a while back and only topping up the parting. She had realistic target goals and even went wild with a few inches off round the face frame. (She’s kept proof to show friends 😂)

In May of taken a few hours to get to this but it was so worth it. 🧡

Can I take you lighter? YES

Will it happen in one visit? Depending on how dark your hair is and previous colour on the hair it may be that we plan your colour program. This client will take 2-3 visits to get to the end target.

Why sometimes is it more than one visit? My main priority is keeping your hair as healthy as we can while we get to your target shade.

How long will it take? Anything from 3-4 hours for your first visit.

Do you need a patch test? Big YES at your first consultation I will carry out a patch test to check there is no reaction to the colours and toners. At the consultation this also gives us time to talk about your hair.

How much? This visit including home care products £144

Most of my work involves colouring long hair and tidying the ends.

After recently having an up skill with . I had the change to put them neat sectioning patterns to good use and restyle into a beautiful bob.
