It’s been a little quiet lately… for you anyway, but behind the scenes we’re busy preparing 69217 for paint.

It’s time for some filler and replacement panels, everything is coming together really well! 👌🏼🚌

69217 embarked on a road test this evening after some maintenance, we decided to make a stop at Moorside Rd.

Which still to this day has X34 listed on it’s stop, Another oddity is that this stop also hasn’t had Bee Network stickers applied yet however others along the A580 do!

16/05/2023

This afternoon we embarked on a route analysis, to ensure certain roads are suitable for 69217.

Here’s a photo on Moss Lane. Heading towards Altrincham, more route testing will take place over the coming weeks!

Keep your eyes peeled 👀

69217 (MX56AEF) had a out run out in Manchester, we’re in discussions regarding the livery 69217 will wear.

Look out over the coming weeks for some clues along with the beginning of our repaint journey. 🙈🚌

**Please be advised destination displays are for photographs only.

We managed to pop out this evening with 69217 to iron out a few little issues that have now been rectified.

We thought it was appropriate to road test along the 67/67L route.

Keep your eyes out for more updates soon! 👌🏼🚌

We’re proud to announce that Ex First Group 69217 (MX56AEF) is joining us for preservation. The vehicle was new to First Manchester but also operated with First Weymouth and latterly First South Yorkshire.

In February 2023, one of the team visited Sheffield to view the vehicle, a 2006 Volvo B7RLE with Wright Eclipse Urban bodywork.

It was decided that 69217 would join the group in March 2023, since joining us the vehicle has had its E-Leather seats returned to moquette along with a deep clean both inside and out.

Following a thorough inspection and service it is apparent that 69217 requires little work prior to its repaint & upcoming MOT.

It is anticipated that 69217 will be repainted into First Group's Barbie livery, You may see 69217 on test around Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Lancashire, however 69217 will go through the paint process before attending any shows or Rallies.

Please keep a close eye on our social media for updates as we progress, please don't forget to share your photos with us too!
