Went back to Northern France for the Sebourg (St Amand, Marly) meeting for the first time in four years,
Great day with good sales and some very good buying. Yellow Scalextric cars are all new in the boxes!

Sunday the 19th November will see the 37th Orpington Slotcar Swapmeet at the Crofton Halls Orpington BR6 8PH in South East London.

Opening time is 10.30am and it will close at 2.30pm, admission is £2.50 with under 16's free,

There is plenty of parking in the station car park which is adjacent to the hall. (there's a short-cut back to the halls next to the Roman Villa, if you can find it!)

This will be the last event I will be organising, the NSCC will be in charge from April next year, they will try to hold the dates on the the 3rd Sunday of April and November as I have done in the past

Please note that unfortunately the Crofton Halls are within the ULEZ zone and if your car is not compliant there will be a £12.50 charge you'll have to pay by midnight on the third day following the journey.

After quite a while out of action the landline (01959 701514) is finally working again, a small break in a 40 metre length of wire that runs through the house and loft, through a car port and into the workshop proved difficult to track down!

Good news, will be at Foro Slot in Madrid this November, flight booked.
First time I have been able to attend as it has always clashed with other events.
Looking forward to it , have not been to a Madrid meeting for over ten years.

It seems I have developed Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo making me feel a little dizzy when I move about.
Unfortunately I will not be able to drive until it clears up, a couple of weeks or so.
So orders may take a little longer to proccess as all parcels will have to be collected by the Royal Mail.

All packed up for tomorrow at Orpington, just the kitchen stuff to go in.

Everything sorted and ready to go for the Orpington Slot car show (aka London International) this weekend. Due to space limitations this time no cars just spares and accessories. But plenty of them, and of course the event car.

Another car full just arrived! Lots of accessories this time, also a large number of brand new Slot It group 'C' body shells, should have a lot of it at Orpington at the weekend.
Cars will be listed in due course.

It was a double header this weekend in Germany, Slotmania, Stuttgart on Saturday followed by the smaller Munich event on Sunday. A good lot of stuff came back with me with some rare pieces.

Just picked up yesterday, about 15 trays full of Scalextric spares form the eighties and nineties, from complete cars to wings for many of the cars from the era. This will take a lot of sorting!

All hitched up and ready to go for this weekends double header, Brentwood Toyfair tomorrow and Leeds NSCC meeting on Sunday.

Over 30 1/24 boxed Carrera cars just in from the USA. Plus about fifty loose 1/32 cars, Carrera, Scalextric, Fly etc. Listing ASAP

Racer cars finally listed, next will be Fly and other presentation box cars.

Picked up a small collection yesterday, with some nice items, 180 mile round trip but worth it.

Didn't pick up that much at Havant, but what I did get was quite nice, these plus about 30 loose Altaya cars.

Trailer loaded and coupled up to car for a 5.30am departure to Havant tomorrow, see you all there 🙂
