‘NEVER. GIVE. UP’

3 years to the day (in fact almost the hour) I was stood outside a tiny volunteer fire house in Domžale, Slovenia.

It had taken 4 months just to get to this stage, and many, many hurdles.

Language barriers, COVID 19 UK red list, Brexit, blagging my way onto a flight with no PCR test… the list goes on. And there were more along the journey back, including ending up in the back of a police car in Munich, and battling with the UK Border Control on my return.

I met some lovely, lovely people that day. They thought I was crazy. They probably weren’t far off the mark.

As we are in the final throes of putting our 3rd 112 vehicle to use (although we have 4 🙄😂), I do smile at all the lunacy and intensity of that 84hr, 4500 mile round trip.

If you have a goal peeps, just remember.

Now, we like to think we do a decent job. However, it makes little difference what WE think.

What does make a difference is what OTHER people think, and non more so than the people that have hired us. Hence we are proud to say we have built great relationships over the last few years, with many clients trusting us as their ‘go-to’ when they need staff, guests or customers feeding, and feeding promptly.

Soorrrrrrreeeeee to all the peeps we had to turn away tonight.

While some folk think it’s great to sell out, we don’t. Strangely enough we only make a living on the pizzas we sell, not the ones we don’t.

And it ain’t like we can just magic some more dough. We slow ferment our dough for 48hrs, so the dough for tomorrow was started Thursday. We went through tonights quota (made Wednesday) with a hour to go in service.
