One of the most valuable skills a sensei can possess is the ability to tie a student's hair up when their band comes off.

We had a fantastic evening at our Watton club, slightly altered due to the warm weather. The atmosphere was more relaxed, yet the students learned many new techniques.

They are all gearing up for the free workshop next week, followed by our third championship in June.

4 DAYS TO GO, before our demonstration team travels to Doncaster to take part in the UK Martial Arts Show.

This will be the first-ever demonstration for our team, & we are dedicating our display to Corey.

Had a fantastic session at our Lakenheath club. Students were engaged in improving their groundwork techniques and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We also dedicated time to discussing the Japanese terminology we employ.

We're excited about the upcoming Lakenheath summer fair we've been invited to. It will be an excellent opportunity to demonstrate our unique style of Ju Jitsu to the local community.

A highly committed student, who has been with JU JITSU UK for over a year and trained four times a week at various clubs, has been diagnosed with cancer.

As his instructor and family friend, I am devastated for him and his family, especially since his two brothers and father also train with us. He faces a three-year battle, but he is a true fighter in every sense. I know he will beat it & already is saying he will be back.

He inquired if we had a cap or beanie hat, so I went out of my way to have them specially made for him and arranged for students from all the clubs he attended to sign a card.

My goal is to raise £100.00 to purchase an Amazon gift card for him, so he can buy whatever he likes as he will be in and out of the hospital for the next six months.

The students were amazing and we raised £150.00.

Today, I successfully passed the pioneering BMABA Concussion & Head Injury Management in Martial Arts Award (CHIMA).

Our independent organisation is committed to upholding the highest standards, ensuring our instructors consistently prioritize the health and safety of all our students. We are devoted to enhancing our expertise through collaboration with BMABA and its premier courses.

JU JITSU UK has made significant strides in the past 18 months and will persist in growing and expanding, thanks to the tremendous support from BMABA, UKMAS UK Martial Arts Show, our students, their parents, and friends globally.

I am truly grateful to all of you.
