Did you know that over at The Dove Inn at Alburgh, near Harleston in Norfolk we will not add a dish to our main menu that cannot be offered
This was my pledge a year ago when we first looked at taking on the restaurant and we have stuck to this plan, with some fabulous feedback about our food! 🤩

Have you had chance to check out what we have been doing over The Dove Inn, Alburgh, Norfolk ?
We opened up over there in July and so am so happy that some of you have found me and have been coming over regularly. We have maintained our standards with baking and I don’t put anything in the menu if it can’t be made and we are getting some fab reviews for our food!
We are doing lots of events, music, theatre, family themed and we also have the b&b and new bar open!

Just letting all my NSP followers know that we have taken on the lease The Dove Inn, Alburgh, Norfolk and will be open soon as a b&b with tearooms and function room. You can expect me to stay true to my catering commitments and that there will be a option for EVERYTHING on the menu and that special care will go into preparing theses dishes.

It’s been an interesting couple of days! Fantastic performance of Macbeth by Rough Cast Theatre Company at St Mary’s Church last night supported by beautiful spring day to get out in the countryside and awesome Yorkshire with our Sunday roast on a Saturday! 😂 🙏 💕
Sweet and savoury buffet in support of a Wake at the club today. We had lots of positive comments about both the food and service. The clubhouse was busy with normal service, despite the situation there was a warm feeling and delicate hum of conversation. The of are very lucky to have this wonderful venue as their base for and pop in soon and sample our for yourselves!

We are now offering carveries every Sunday until Christmas here Everything you see is freshly made using ingredients and you wouldn’t know because they are We are handling bread in a separate area away from the kitchen and staff have had training. Not a sniff of wheat flour on the premises!

Well, we are in, I have not slept in 3 days but everything is coming together, thanks to my fabulous family and the wonderful staff at Bungay and Waveney Vally Golf Club!
We will be catering from the commercial kitchen. I am working hard to ensure that I can retain my gluten free offer but customers may need to be patient as I work this out around my new commitments to the club.

Gotta love a scotch egg and a sausage roll! Freshly made to order using award winning gluten free sausage meat from more local collaborations enabling me to bake wholesome food that is enjoyed by all but also safe for Coeliacs. We never compromise on taste and you wouldn’t know these are gluten free if you just picked them up. I ask myself, who is really missing out here? 🤔

My morning so far this Sunday. Make sweet and savoury scones, cook the famalam crispy bacon and maple sauce waffles for breakfast and them pack afternoon teas for customers…and it is not even 11 o’clock yet! Time for a sit down and a coffee I think. Have a fab Sunday everyone!
It was an eventful weekend of baking! I got to try out my new A3 edible icing and wafer printer to create a very special birthday cake, cupcakes and a savoury buffet and to top it off we had a roast with the most delicious Yorkshire puds! All gluten free and full of texture, flavour and deliciousness 😋
Off to London for this buffet today safely wrapped in insulated, eco-friendly packaging to keep it chilled 😎 the brief was shout out to my local suppliers who never let me down

It is amazing how creative you can be with food even when your diet is restricted due to allergies and many other health reasons. At North Suffolk Pantry, we do not see this as a difficulty, a challenge sometimes, but always an opportunity to try something new and make it delicious!
