For urgent care that is not an emergency - sprains, burns and minor fractures, visit either the Urgent Treatment Centre in Lewes or the Minor Injuries Units in Uckfield or Crowborough.
Urgent care services provide medical help when it's not a life-threatening emergency.
Some services are standalone and some are located at hospitals, next to A&E. You don't need an appointment but NHS 111 can book you an arrival time and let the service know you are coming.
They treat adults and children over the age of one for a range of minor illness and injury such as sprains and strains, injuries, cuts and bruises, stomach pain, vomiting and diarrhoea, high temperature in children and adults and mental health concerns. Some services also have x-ray facilities and can diagnose and treat broken bones.

Please can we remind patients to not block the road to Rotherfield Surgery as it affecting our deliveries and waste collections. We had a missed waste collection due to the road being blocked by a 4by4. We need to have our deliveries and collections.

The expert teams of staff can diagnose and treat a range of minor injuries and illnesses and there's no need to book an appointment.

Get help for your symptoms - NHS 111 Parts of the NHS will be on strike on 15, 20, 21 and 28 December. Urgent care services are likely to be very busy with longer waiting times than normal. Help will always be available in an emergency.
