Been updating the CAD for the Class 303 EMU N Gauge kit. It will be possible to have the wrap round windscreen or the flat..............
Just got to add the rain strip to the middle car, to match the driving cars.
Kit will be £70 for the 3 bodies and usual floors. It is listed on the website, but please be aware that I am improving the kit so it will be delayed a little while I make final changes.
If anyone spots anything that stands out that would help improve the kit, let me know.
N Gauge Class 104 DMBS and DCTL in testing.
Test 3D cabs of DAF 3300 for my Mix-N-Match lorry chassis range.
Just checking it for modifications before release.
Rough FDM 3D print as a cheap test. Gives me something to hold and review and throw in the bin when I am ready.
Introduced this as a kit at TINGS a few years ago, but it has been a slow uptake. I do it as a 4 car kit plus expansion set, to allow for people with only smaller layouts.
It is designed to sit on a Tomytec chassis, for motive power and Shorty Train bogies for the dummy carriages (Not included in the kit)
N-Train has had to pull out of DEMU Showcase due to health problems.
I have been advised not to drive too far by my doctor while I await test results. Hopefully it is just getting the medication mix right then I can get back to 'normal'.
Does anyone know how the Bachmann Y25 bogies fit connectors. OO gauge.
Not sending out orders at present as we are down with Covid.Normal service should resume in due course.
Nice video

What about some possibly unsung heroes in Ukraine. The railway staff who relentlessly travel to and from danger zones. How many of the refugees have been saved due to their brave acts.
I've been a bit quiet for a while due to health issues. Some of which are ongoing.
However, I have not been totally idle. I have started going through the range and making a number of updates. Some of the designs are very old and my design methods have improved.
Hand in hand to this is a freshening of the website. Also a slow job.
I have also been talking to Adam at Electra, and health permitting I hope to be a DEMU Showcase and The N Gauge Show this year.
It seems Sky/Now TV broadband have issues which are blocking access to several web servers. As a result, I am unable to access my e-mails or website at the moment.
Searching through Google, it seems there are people trying to work from home, and unable to make their usual connection.
The problem started about 2:00 am and seems to be ongoing............
Various test prints, lsoon to be released as kits.
First sample Portaloo in N Gauge. Seems to take the paint ok.
310/312 BDTS & DTC test prints. Other coaches now designed and waiting for a print run.
Prototype N Gauge road sweeper. Just making a few modifications and will check the fit again.
Couple of weeks and we should know.
Playing around with the animation part of Paintshop Pro 7. Yes, I, know it is old, but it is mine and I haven't done an animated gif for a lot of years..........................
The lorry CAD are basically versions that I can provide with Axor, MAN, Iveco cabs, but I am having trouble putting them on the website.

Something new to add. Transit 'maxi' bus.
I see similar designs on day trips to the seaside etc.

Trial of vinyls on my test Trans Pennine Class 124. ElectraRail Graphics.
Been selling a few of these through my Shapeways shop, Class 365 OO scale cabs.
I do a few bits in OO & TT simply because people asked if I could scale up some of my models.
A lot of requests go nowhere, as people expect the cost to be double the N Gauge model, forgetting it is bigger in all dimensions, not just one.
As a follow up to the Class 105 CAD I was doing, here is a Class 129 MLV
Hand assembled all British wheels next to my existing Chinese sourced version.
Just trying to sort out the insulating bushes on the axle. This one has a mix of two different 3D printed versions.
TPU Which is was printed over size and I did some on my home resin 3d printer, but they were brittle.
