🎊 We are very excited to announce new weekly tuition in Snare Drumming / Drumaireachd Còmhlan-pìoba!
📆 Starting on Tuesday 12 September these will be 30 minute group sessions between 4 pm - 7pm at OBAN PIPE BAND HALL.
For ages 8 - 18, it costs just £4 per half hour and some free places are available.

The Sunday Sessions are back!
6 group-work sessions (3 confirmed for this year and the other 3 will be in early 2024) on Sunday afternoons for players aged 11-18.
If you already play regularly and can manage a range of tunes on accordion, clàrsach, fiddle, flute, guitar, piano, small pipes, viola or whistle, and want to work on playing together/arranging tunes in a group, these workshops will be for you!
Learn new skills including playing for and calling dances and improve your playing and musicianship! Led by Sileas Sinclair with additional tutors the sessions take place at the Rockfield Centre in Oban, please book your place by emailing us at [email protected] and please share to anyone else you think will be interested!

Halò a chàirdean - tha sinn air ais! / Hello Everyone! We’re back, with a four-week come-and-try block of lessons for complete beginners (aged 8 - 18) in fiddle, guitar and accordion starting on Saturday 9 September.

We teach in small groups with experienced tutors and instruments are also available for loan/hire. Places are very limited, so don’t delay to book a place by emailing [email protected].

A few spaces are also available in other levels and we offer tuition in clàrsach, fiddle, whistle, accordion, guitar and chanter!

Hi Folks, we are delighted to announce that this years Glen Scotia Whisky West Coast Rocks Concert with Skipinnish, Ceòl an Aire and Argyll Ceilidh Trail - Ceol mun cuairt performing is now sold out. Alison M Leith is your MC for the night.
