In march 2020...our last contract.. I had a brilliant time onboard cunard because I had the opportunity to reconnect with the brilliant Salvatore Hasard. Fast forward a year...he asked me to sing this classic Beatles song in honor of 2 singers that have inspired us both...he played and composed the entire track...talk about talent!
Here is the link below...we hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed doing it

With a Little Help from My Friends "With a Little Help from My Friends" Inspired by two of our favorite artists Shirley Bassey and Tom Jones. They performed this classic Beatles song on TV in ...
So I decided to try and kick my butt into motivational action and do some singing...
I first sang this song on my first cruise contract 10 years ago with the wonderful Belinda King Creative Productions ...so I thought as it's been 10 years I should try and record a solo version...
I hope you like it
Wild horses Sophie Tehrani I first sang this song as a beautiful 4 part arrangement on my first ever cruise singing job for the wonderful Belinda King. My husband loves it so has asked...

Flashback to 2 years ago in one of my favourite parts of the world...the South Pacific. This photo was taken in the beautiful warm Bora Bora waters...there simply was nothing better than dipping your toes in the crystal clear water, sipping on a coconut and eating fresh fish for lunch...I should have been there again this year...let's hope I am able to return to this Incredible place once again. I have always been incredibly appreciative of my luck with travel...but now more than ever
Teaching all of the lovely Chinese students has really reminded me of our wonderful trips to Shanghai, and how luck we were. This is a throwback to the most amazing noodle soup at 1am after work...where they made homemade noodles like masters, in front of our own eyes...
On Mental Health day...it is now MORE THAN EVER that we must try to understand Mental Health problems and put them on a equal par with other visible diseases...you never know what is happening in the mind of even the closest people you know, let alone a stranger. So you must always be kind...words and actions are incredibly powerful so use them in the right way. We only have one shot at life and everyone has their own personal journey, struggles, highs and lows so we must help each other and show love, understanding and compassion. We must all learn to love ourselves and accept that things don’t always turn out how we had planned. That we are allowed to have bad days and that there doesn’t need to be a reason why. You are not alone. Equally those around you must find the time to reach out to you to find out how you really are, a small message goes a n incredibly long way, it shows you are thought about and loved even in the darkest times. Learn about mental health and understand the right things to say...we live in a new world where old phrases are no longer tolerated. It is ok to cry, it is ok to be exhausted, it is ok to be scared. In a world where we are all plastered on the internet it is more important than ever to not compare your lives to others...every single person you meet is different, and your life is yours not theirs. The mind is incredibly powerful and we must give it the time to rest when it is needed. Self care, conversation and love and what we all need to survive. We are going through a huge ordeal together but separately at the moment, so it is more important than ever to reach out and support each other through this. If you are suffering , please don’t do it alone, we are all here to help. If anyone ever needs to talk I am always here...be kind xx
Teacher Sophie...well...if you had asked me what I'd be doing this time last year...this was not one of the things...but here we are...time to embrace a new skill and hopefully lots of great experiences to help me develop more as a performer and childrens author...
I'm ready to sing...any venues, bars, hotels or events that are happening now and through Christmas, in and around Lisbon...please let me know.
A year ago today I stepped onboard the gorgeous Cunard Line...was wowed...and made my first steps to starting my career as a Guest Entertainer...I managed 4 gigs before covid paused my absolute enjoyment and dream job...please can we go back now...? I miss it so much...
A great song I had the pleasure of recording backing vocals for written by the amazing Salvatore Hasard...check it out!
A BETTER DAY "A better day" is a song dedicated to all performing artists that have been sidelined by the pandemic. We could be the hardest hit industry in the world and ...
As the sun sets on another beautiful evening with this view...I have to take a moment to say a huge thank you for all of your wonderful birthday wishes...sending much love to you all xx
It has been 5 months since I had the enormous pleasure of performing with the incredible Cunard orchestra...and sadly it will be another 8 months until I get to do ot again...can't wait to get back on the gorgeous Cunard fleet 'sintheblood
Another completely different location which equally gave me an amazing energy was Alaska...nature is at its best here...I don't know if it's just the ability to look at this scenery and wildlife or the chance to breath pure air...or a combination of the 2...but I have never felt so full of life and calm than I have in Alaska...
One place on my travel that I felt a huge connection and energy with was Hawaii...I can't put my finger on it...but I just felt right there...the beaches...the people...as i wrote on the sand...i will be back...
In case you missed the concert I streamed on Sunday night...her was my addition to the concert...Being Alive from company by Sondheim x
Being Alive - Sophie Tehrani The wonderful Sondheim classic...Being Alive from the Musical Company...
Missing playing with incredible musicians...take me back!
Reflecting on the concert we put together last night...lockdown has definitely come with ALOT of challenges...but one thing that has kept me going throughout this whole time is ...From a short phone call... to creating a buisness from scratch, between 2 different countries...To support over 70 performers without work...To keep Theater alive in the comfort of peoples homes from all over the world...To engaging the next generation of top West End Performers...my mind is blown and I feel grateful...lucky...reflective...emotional...happy and incredibly proud to have achieved what we have in such a short space of time...I love you here is to many more adventures and creating wonderful moments for people. Passion and sheer motivation is how this company was created. Last night felt like I was back onstage...and the feedback has been worth every moment stuck on a computer...SO incredibly thankful to every performer who gave up their time to be a part of a special event to raise money for a special charity, it was incredibly humbling. I love theatre, it is who I am...so nothing makes me happier than being a part of such an amazing company with wonderful opportunities....
Please mark this amazing online concert in your diary and share with all of your family and friends...

After months of no live music (apart from online) it is safe to say when I heard this guy start playing I felt really overwhelmed with emotions. I know that a lot of people are suffering with work at the moment...but for those of us who make entertainment our everyday work...it is more than just work...it is our soul, it is who we are. For most of us we start from a very young age...and we fight and train so hard to make it a success...so for performers...not being able to do what we do has been really really tough. Hoping that we get to perform soon...my goodness I miss it so much. I think when I watch my first show or perform my own once again...the emotion for returning, and sheer appreciation for my work...will roll down my face...
If you know anyone who would be interested in our workshops please share our summer promo video...we have an amazing summer planned Westend Workshops LIVE
Today is the International day of the seafarer...and I miss being at sea more than ever...this day will mean more to me and thousands of others now more than ever...with cruises at a complete stop and crew members still floating with no idea when they can return home...and then those at home waiting to know when they can go back to work. Being a seafarer is not just a job it is a lifestyle, and once you become one...it is in your blood for life. My last 9 years at sea have been unbelievable and I am thankful every day for the people I've met, the places I've seen and the amazing friends for life I have made. I could not be more proud to be a seafarer...and hope we can all return to our floating home away from home very soon...sending love and strength to all my floating seafarers...the hardest working people I know xx
2 months ago we set up West End Workshops Live in hope to bring a little enjoyment to your homes and to help support performers who are currently out of work due to the closure of the theatres in the UK and USA.
Little did we know that something that started out to just 'keep us busy' during lockdown, would turn into a wonderful platform to support almost 50 performers and bring the West End & Broadway to the comfort of your homes...
An intimate opportunity to learn about the shows and ask those burning questions to those we normally wait for just a signature from stage door...how lucky are we...and how blessed are we all to have such amazing shows to explore and the talent to show it.
Thank you all for your continued support, energy, enthusiasm, love and talent...we are enjoying every single second...and we have so much more to come...here is to the next 2 months...xx
