Hi everyone, hope you are all doing ok. I’ve had a few people contact me to ask when I’ll be starting to take classes again. I don’t have a fixed date as yet for both leasingham and Go Dance, but hopefully it will be next month. As soon as I know more information I’ll let everyone know. See you soon, take care, thanks Donna.
Looking forward to seeing some of you at go dance studios tonight 6-6:50pm for a free class.
*** Go Dance update***
Thank you to everyone who came to the classes this afternoon and evening, it was good to see everyone and we had a good laugh as usual. See you soon, take care, thanks Donna.
Following the announcement yesterday regarding COVID-19 and the social meeting of more than 6 people indoors or outdoors which takes place from Monday, Leasingham village hall announced that they will close again until further notice from this weekend.
The class will still go ahead tomorrow night as planned but no more after that until further notice, I am totally gutted about it but hopefully we will be back soon.
Thank you
Donna.

I still have places available for all the classes, just drop me a message/text or phone me.
Please try and bring correct money if possible.
There is a one way system in place, entry is via the main door and exit is via the fire door from the rear foyer.
Only the main hall and the disabled toilet will be available. The kitchen, Jessop room and other toilets will not be available.
Hand sanitiser dispensers are installed.
As a hirer of the hall I have to keep a record of all those who attend the classes, this is for track and trace purpose.
Hello Line Dancers, with us going back to Leasingham next Friday and the restriction of the number of people that are allowed in the hall (30 people in total), I need to get a rough idea on how many people will be attending the classes. Therefore if you could let me know either on this post below, via messenger or by text message which of the classes you will be attending. Thank you
***Update regarding leasingham village hall***
Good news, they are reopening the hall as from 6th September.
Line dance classes will start from Friday 11th September.
The same times will still apply to classes.
Only the main hall along with the disabled toilet will be in use. (The kitchen, other toilets and Jessop room will not be available).
There will be a maximum of 30 people allowed in the room, so people may have to book with me beforehand (but I will confirm this).
I will update with further information later. If you have any questions, please let me know. Looking forward to seeing everyone again, thanks Donna.
***Update regarding Go Dance Studios***
These classes will be postponed until the start of the October. They have to get interest for these classes, so They will use
September to do that.
They are considering doing a free class on the last week of September, and then setting them up officially from the first week in October.
The classes will still be on a Tuesday night (same as before) but it will be 6-6:50pm. (They have been cut short by 10 minutes to allow the studio/equipment to be cleaned before the next class).
It will be good to see you there. Anymore information I get I will update this page.
***Update about leasingham village hall***
Covid-19 Update: Following the Government relaxation of the Covid-19 Restrictions effective on 4th July 2020, the Village Hall Steering Group met to discuss the options for potentially reopening the hall. It was unanimously agreed at the meeting, that with the uncertainty over a potential second wave of the Covid-19 Virus, and the fact that the School Summer Holidays are coming up, and historically hall usage during this period is at its lowest, it would be a good idea to wait and see what happens during the next few weeks. The Steering Group will meet again in mid-August, to consider the options for reopening the hall, on a limited basis from 1st September 2020.
Hi everyone, hope you are all doing ok and you are looking forward to get back dancing.
I’ve had a few people asking when we are starting again. I’m waiting to hear from Go Dance and also from leasingham village hall, as soon as I do then I will let you know. No date has been confirmed yet. Take care everyone and see you soon, Donna.
Sorry for the lack of posts/videos.
I’m going to be quiet for a while as I’m helping my best friend deal with a difficult and emotional time atm.
Take care everyone x
I wonder how many dances/videos I can do before we get back together???
A big social/party night and lots of cake will be needed when we get back together again. Hope you are all doing ok.
This dance is called ‘Better when I’m dancing’. This is for the intermediates.
