Boats made with hard wearing tough PVC are referred to as 'rafts' and those made with lighter TPU are referred to 'packrafts'. PVC and TPU version boats of the same name are identical in dimensions.

Missing Neris Packrafts - Request for Information
We are saddened to report that two of our packrafts have not been returned by a former Neris brand ambassador and are currently missing. As a result, we are seeking your help.
If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of these packrafts or have seen them recently, please contact us immediately. Any leads would be greatly appreciated as this is our property and it’s crucial we recover these boats.
These particular packrafts are truly unique with a very distinctive colour scheme where two different colours were combined on the inflatable tube part of the packraft - red with orange. These two PVC Neris LotaFun rafts with this particular colour combination are the only ones ever made and exists in the UK, and therefore can be easily identified. The Neris LotaFun BAS has red for the bow and stern sections, whilst the Neris LotaFun WW (with the black fitted spraydeck) is the opposite - orange for the bow and stern sections.

STOLEN - 2 packrafts as pictured here. One Neris Lotafun 210 BAS (TPU) in orange/yellow and one Lotafun 210 WW orange
The TPU version is the only one in the UK so should be easily identified with that colour scheme. This raft is fitted with black Leafield D7 valves and has the Neris Rafts logo on both sides on the bow.
The all orange WW version (fixed spray deck) is made of PVC and has grey Halkey Roberts valves but with a rubberised Neris logo (n black) on the starboard side bow. Very few Neris rafts had this version logo attached, so this particular raft may be the only one in the UK that has that combination (being WW, valve make, logo and newer version seat).
Should anyone have purchased (or seen) either or both of these two rafts, please contact ourselves ASAP.

A fleet of Neris LotaFun 210 WW model packrafts just off the factory production floor and is soon on the way to a new exciting rafting company in the UK!
These ones are made of durable marine PVC in two grades - tough and ideal for fleet hire operators. Also availabe in lighter TPU for weight saving

Some stats about the LIGHT BigFun 265 made with a mix of TPU for the inflatable tubes and durable lighter PVC for the black bottom. Ideal as a fishing raft.

Size comparisons between the 1st original Small BigFun 265 and the latest Large BigFun 285. BigFun is the raft model that is longer with a storage footwell in the bow. When choosing our rafts, you should be looking at the inside width for best fit.

Sneak preview of the Neris tandem 360 raft (TPU). Weight of raft with 2 seats = 5.55kg, exterior measurements = 360 x 100cm, interior measurements = 353 x 36/37cm. This tandem raft has parallel pontoons like most inflatable kayaks, the next upcoming shorter and more compact 320 tandem raft has inwards tapering pontoons much like a typical packraft.

Neris Rafts was at the annual H33 International Paddlesports Festival held at Hurley Weir on 19th March 2022 with try-outs of the Neris LotaFun WW version rafts. An introduction to a new challenging paddlesport in the form of WW Freestyle competitions that is planned to be introduced as an possible official category next year at major freestyle events including Hurley Classics!

We have access to very limited stock of Smart / Smart PRO's and packrafts (made before the Russian invasion and stored elsewhere in far western Ukraine safely) and is due to organise a bulk shipment to the UK within the next few days. Anyone wanting to purchase a kayak or packraft, contact us now to avoid disappointment. It is not known at the moment when the production line will resume, hence a possible long wait.

Neris Rafts was at the kayak freestyle annual Hurley Classic (H33) last Saturday showing a small fleet comprising of a variety of different models and variants rafts. Lots of paddlers had fun trying out the LotaFun WW rafts at the weir. More photos and videos coming soon!
When you get back after your paddles, you should always clean and dry your boats as best as you can. We supply super absorbent sponges from Germany that really dry the boats effiently and easily. Our sponges are far the best around and is much better than most cloths and sponges. If you leave our sponges in key spots on the floor of your boat whilst paddling, these sponges will suck up the water on its own! Sold in pairs (£8 incl P&P).
Why should we dry and clean?
1 - Some of the black bags and accessories for the kayaks / packrafts have ink that may come off and stain your boat especially if the boat is packed wet. (Factory is aware of this).

This coming Saturday 19th March 2022, Neris Rafts will be at the freestyle Hurley Classic (H33)! This event will host demos and try outs using our LotaFun packrafts as a forerunner to a new sporting category that hopefully will become official in 2023. That is, a totally new freestyle category using lotaFun's that will bring out very challenging new skill sets in WW freestyle kayaking. "Jacko" Jackson who has been running the Hurley Classic for 33 years is very keen to introduce this new pioneering sporting category after trying out a Lotafun last year. Another new Freestyle event, similar to H33 will hopefully be introduced in 2023 and hosted elsewhere and that event will also have similar opportunities and these two events will combine to form leagues.
Due to a very busy sporting schedule on the Saturday, there is only two one hour time slots (8am and 5pm) which are open to those who want to try paddle at Hurley Weir with your own LotaFun or with one of our demo Lotafuns, or to watch some top freestylers having a go.
Parking is only available at the SAS site at the top, from where you can walk down to the river bank.

Vildmark, an UK Outdoors Adventure company that specialises in reviews of outdoor equipment has kindly produced this video for us in advance of detailed reviews of various NERIS items that they will be publishing at the end of the month.

Some serious white water on the River Dee this morning.
No wonder it was quiet in the car parks today. And only 3 Kayakers on the water with us as the water level was extremely high and minimal chance of catching safe eddies.
Get training before taking on rivers like this please.
