Longest weekend of my life so far, we left home Wednesday last week, stayed in the van doing agility, popped back Sunday to have another one day local agricultural show on Monday. I’ve bagged another rosette - woo hoo a 2nd place, & then we, cos mum says it’s mainly her fault, just never quite made a clear round BUT we had fun. Monday local show was super fun too although my head really was up for weaving although I managed all my contacts & even did a Tunnel Fun course with only 2 jumps & then 14 tunnels - there were only 8 but we did several twice & I love a tunnel. I’ve slept mostly for the last few days & dad said I did a lot of dreaming on Tuesday & running in my sleep. I’ve training tonight so quick nap as we have yea early then off we go again. Woo hoo another agility competition & another frilly. This time it’s pink & I just missed out on a 4th place so just a clear round. Mum was super pleased with my weaves & contacts just a little trouble with the seesaw. Off for a snooze as I’m super tired 😴 see you all soon xx

Fantastic weekend away at Wellington for the Blackdown agility show & weekend in the camper van. I’ve had lots of fun but have really struggled with other dogs this weekend so mums had me queuing quietly to the side…..I can still see the the other dogs & it’s sometimes so exciting I’m not even bothered with my ballie but mum has some super tasty treats that I only get at shows. Mum was super pleased with me as I managed to get all my weave entries on Saturday although the sea saw was too exciting & I used it like a launch pad which meant mum made me do it again. After tea & a snooze we had more fun & that’s when I got my frilly which I love - another blue one 🥰🥰 I’m off to catch up on my sleep but here’s some photos from the weekend 🥰🥰🥰

Hi all, sorry I’ve not posted for a while. The agility season has officially started & after a couple of indoor shows we’ve just had our first weekend away. Staying in Cornwall, travelling in the van was easy & only an hour away although I do find it a little hard. I’ve had so much fun & been super excited, mum was so proud of how I managed to queue, something I really struggle with….so many dogs, so much noise & then dogs doing agility whilst I have to wait my turn 🤪 mum’s trying to stop treating me like a baby & I’ve loved being able to work away from her & being more independent although struggled with the weaves, they just slow me up too much 🤣 I did manage to get a 5th place rosette on Saturday even though I did have 3 faults. Apparently I have a couple of weeks before our next show so back to sleep I go 🥰🥰🥰 ps check out the final run from Sunday x

Luckily it was inside & limited in numbers so not too big. I had lots of fun although I still find the queuing challenging but brought back a second place for all my hard work in a jumping round, we won’t talk about the agility although mum was pleased as I managed to get all my contacts.
I’ve had a snooze & am now ready for my tea 🥰 ps mums going to add a film too in a bit 🥰

Today has seen 24 week old Shep G arrive at Protecting Preloved Border Collies rescue. Litter brother to Mags and Radar he is now in foster under assessment.

Hello all, just been out running with mum this morning & it’s been a little different. Apparently my natural chasing instincts are really kicking in so todays run had more stop, wait & come here commands in than normal. I love running but I also love squirrel chasing. Mum says I’ve been very good & it’s all good training for the upcoming agility season 🥰🥰🥰

Not sure if this is a woo hoo moment or not but had my first rodent kill today 😳 was running with mum in the woods & there were so so many lovely smells. I’ve ended up with my first war wound which has been washed out, cleaned & sprayed. Mum says if that’s my top speed she really is having to get a lot fitter 🤣🤣😳🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️

Woo hoo what a start to the year, back at agility training & mums taken me out running twice this week - guess she’s trying to get us fit again 🤣 I love the dark runs as I get to wear my special collar & then todays run was more like a swim - at least I didn’t need a quick hose off after 🤣🤣🤣

Hi there all, sorry I’ve not posted in a while. It’s been a funny old time, agility season for us has finished so no weekends away until next year & dads been poorly so life been quite quiet which is just weird 🤪
Last night it all changed…..back to trying something new, mum & I went night running 😮 mum said for my first run we wouldn’t do the woods but our normal valley trails. I wore an extra collar & mum had a bright light on her head so I always knew where she was. I loved it so much, I had extra treats when we got home & then a lovely long sleep & I’m not sure I’m up for too much today 🥰🥰🥰😴😴😴 see you all soon x

So another agility weekend done & dusted! This time we stayed local so I could sleep in my own bed 🥰
Mums super pleased with me, out of 6 runs we only managed to get eliminated once & that was her fault 🤪 I’m getting more comfortable at the shows & am now able to queue for my classes rather than have to wait somewhere quiet but still find being close to the start line really difficult- it’s just sooo exciting. I managed to get all my contacts this weekend & even conquered the weave entry/ weaves 3 times on my first go - mum says it gives us homework for the winter months so that’s fine & then Sunday even though I missed my weaves first go I got a frilly 🤩🤩🤩 2nd place in an agility round.
We have another competition next weekend & then that’s the end for the year I think although there are some indoor ones but they have limited numbers & fill up really quick so maybe I can get used to my Sunday lie-ins again 🤞

Hi all, just had a fantastic weekend away doing agility again, this time just outside Wellington. Van life has been rear too as I’m able to sleep on mums bed & have snuggles in the morning too. I’ve not had a lot of luck lately winning any more frillies but mum’s super pleased with how I’m coping with the show environment- I still get a little anxious but it’s a lot easier than at the beginning of the year. The weather was so hot on Saturday but we managed to have a play in a nearby stream to cool us all off & then today we had thunder & rain before the sun came out again. Well I’m off for a nap apparently we have another 2 shows next weekend but they are local so no staying in the van. Enjoy the photos 🥰🥰🥰
