One of my goals in 2023 is to send *more* cards and spread .

Yes, I create super high vibe, crazy colourful cards, but no, I don’t send nearly as many as I’d like to ! Here’s a peak of my blog post on the subject… (link in bio)

“I’m absolutely a product of my generation when it comes to sending cards - a text message, phone call or email are often my first choice. Words of love and affirmation are my primary love language, so to me, the words more than the medium are what matter. But… and there’s a BIG but…

When those words of love are hand-written by someone and personally sent to me in card form, my love-meter positively POPS.

That’s why, in my mind’s eye, I first saw my designs on greeting cards. My mandalas are created with joy, straight from the heart - and while I knew they could (and in future, would) make great art prints, I knew they were primarily meant for spreading that energy. Each card is meant to be a tiny act of connection.”

👋🏻🌸 Hi everyone 🌸👋🏻 my name’s Anaïs, and Siana and I (swipe left) run the card.love biz 🤓😝🔥
At the moment, I’m a behind the scenes kinda gal. Siana makes my website shine while I peddle quietly and happily in the background - with chronic illness it’s hard to show up with energy.
But life is good 💖 slow, quiet. Intentional. Highly attuned to what matters to me. Slowly shedding what gets in the way of my fullest life and putting things in place to aid the next phase of my recovery.
Card.love is one of those things ✨💜🌸 a creative process, a meditation, a becoming. A journey.

When I began designing cards, my whole life had been turned upside down. I had to give up the career I’d worked so hard to start building. Long-covid had stripped me of energy, health and power over my future.

The only thing I could do without making myself ill was be creative. Slowly, and with plenty of breaks. One design at a time.

and .designs were born from trying to find pleasure, balance and joy during my illness. From trying to recover some agency and hope for the future.

Recovery is slow, painstaking and absolutely not on my schedule. But I’m doing something I love and I get to share it with you. I’m so honoured to support with regular donations thanks to YOU and your purchases.
